Does anyone know the torque specs on the axle bolts when reassembling? Has anyone had luck in just cutting the dpf and wiggling it out without unbolting the axle? Started working on mine and I haven’t been able to get it out yet.

I ran 360whp on my non ra block STI. 33k hard driving. Racing a car everyday and always driving fast. Had stock down pipe, Cobb 20g turbo , killer b headers, Koyo radiator and ets TMIC. Eventually got rod knock. Had two week old Motul 5w30 oil. Been using the same oil for almost two years.

It frustrates me to no end to see videos like this that do t get any views and yet if this was a Honda video it would’ve been in the tens of thousands by now. Vw/VR6 content don’t get any love, especially by our own community. As the founder of the biggest FB group (Everything VRt) I use to pin good channels in the top of the page and encouraged members to sub and watch and that didn’t even help. This was the main reason I opted out of starting my own channel. It’s a waste if no one’s gonna watch it. And what’s crazy is the Germans that are doing the same content are getting a ton of views with no subtitles.

Without the IAT would the Maf go before throttle body like normal or would it go on the turbo inlet?

I had my 2013 JSW deleted and tuned (stage 2), about a year ago. ever since the work was done, the engine has some vibration now. any idea what would cause it? the shop that did the delete is over an hour away and I've been afraid to drive the car on the highway because over 50mph you can hear a high frequency vibration. there's a video on my channel showing the noise, but it's hard to hear without headphones

Hey just had a question. I had a dpf code and so I carved it open and took the filter part out of the cartridge and sowed it back together. It’s now throwing a bunch of codes for air intake and a bunch of sensor codes. Some forums say to drive it for a week and the codes will clear but I’m wondering if I need to delete the egr as well to get it out of limp mode. Someone help please.

You don't have to cut anything

Not sure why you were having a problem, I’ve done a few and never cut anything.

Did you leave the egr valve in and just put the 1 block off plate on?

After watching a few how to DPF filter removal videos for my first time just yesterday I was able to take mine completely out without cutting it or even dropping the bottom Bridge, it was so tight several times I thought I was a goner and not be able to complete the job but I sure got it done then I replaced it with a new one now everything runs great again, I have a 2013 VW Beetle TDI and it can be done without torching because then I would be stuck with a worthless $700 core deposit so I did everything I could to make sure I didn't cut it like you did, good video thanks for explaining
