I’d been to downing a few times for formals but i haven’t been to their theatre. It must be the only college to have one. Gorgeous. Like Downing, Homerton actually houses most of its postgrads on-site too. Downing’s MCR is so nice!

Fitz pleasantly surprised me with its wealth of greenery. It has a nice garden, which comes with a storied mansion on site. The first PM of singapore matriculated to this college, and they still have documents related to him and his time at Cam. his wife went to Girton.

Is Dr Annouchka her supervisor? Linh's thesis sounds like it's up Dr Annouchka's alley. Like Linh, I studied at the Education Fac as well. Love her punting stories. She's right about random magical things happening in Cambridge.

While I'll always think Gonville and Caius's hall is the nicest one, I have to concede that King's is the more majestic one. Thanks to this vid, I now know that off-site King's residents have access to their library and hall. And do I see u wearing your guide's blue jacket? I ship u both!

The formals at this college are absolutely fantastic! Haha, and yes, nothing gets past you-had to wear the jacket because it was pretty cold!

No rules prohibiting men from entering the college at certain hours (unlike Newnham)? yeay for Medwards. Homerton has an apple orchard and we bottled the juices. Girton's is the most famous one though, to the extent that Jack's Gelato has a flavour called Girton's apple.

I have a soft spot for St John's. A friend of mine is doing a PhD there and I visited him often. I attended a fabulous, magical May Ball there, more than a few formals and had even taken my graduation pictures at Johns too. The wedding cake is the most iconic architecture in Cambridge, alongside Corpus Christi's main building and King's College Chapel. I'd been to the library at night, and didn't realise what a stunning view it commands! Btw is your friend a postgrad who'd studied at Yale?

@@ArnovATW thank you!! Yes, usually it’s quite tricky if you want to go to the old hall - they sell out so quickly! But it’s def worth it - sometimes they even have 5 courses feasts!

I've always loved Newnham. I attended a bridgemas formal and a lovely garden party here. The view from the rooftop is stunning. I find the the porter's stringent attitude towards men to be quite heavy handed. That said, I'm sure the porters will find, among those gathered at the assembly point during a fire drill, men who'd been sneaked in by Newnham students.

I used to go to Peterhouse for lunch. The crackling fireplace was a welcome structure during winter. People politely jostled for the tables closest to it. This is the most comprehensive tour of Peterhouse on KZbin, to date. Thank you for uploading this.
