Came here after Namii's cover which I felt had a more less ambience ecstatic to it in the style like it was presented by an MLP G5 character but nevertheless nothing beats the original either!

This exact piano is used as the main theme for the Class of'09 visual novel. Is feather the same composer? I think Aaron Monroe

Either Aaron straight up stole this, or is actually the dude who composed the beat in the first place, or the beat was probably just a non copyrighted one. Or who knows? Maybe guy who made the beat never credited himself.

The description does encourage remixing this song using the stems, so possibly the composer just used the piano from a remix they made. I have no idea though, I can barely find info that Aaron Monroe isn't dead.

Really hope feather is doing well in their current endeavors in life. I still remember getting to sit down to interview them not long before they left KZbin and I still to this day think about it often. Wish I would have finished editing the interview and uploaded it. Now it is lost to time and only my faint memories. They are such an amazing person. I wish only continued happiness to them. 💚 Year later edit: If anyone finds this comment, there are some more comments on the thread with more info on where she went. I hope that we can all continue to appreciate Feather's music for years to come.

@ForkGenesis When I had spoken with them, they were planning to leave so they could pursue a career in teaching art at schools IIRC. I wish that I could find the original recording so that I could maybe edit something together from it. But it may be lost to time. Feather seemed incredibly passionate about teaching art to others from what my memory recalls of the interview. And they were such a genuinely sweet person.

That was my impression I got from various comments made in videos, replies and descriptions. That Feather loved making music, but had no interest in pursuing it as a career, their real passion was teaching. And managed to attain their dream job and become a teacher. it also meant less time to create music. and that, combined with another comment stating they had gotten engaged, lead to them eventually deciding to walk away.

@@TDAdvocate thank you for your thorough story. The only thing throwing me off is how silently they left the stage.. Leaving fans to theorize about their story afterwards. Still, all the best to Feather. If they had wanted to become somebody else, then I wish them all the best in whatever the life may bring ^_^ I sometimes wish that they see how much we appreciate their work from years that have passed, how the songs that they left in this time capsule live on, bringing joy and strength to those who stumbled upon them, how much their impact meant, the impact that they forever did on this tiny corner of the Internet.
