Hi. So you didn't have to back fill and add water at the same time?
@poolsandboulders33926 ай бұрын
During the fiberglass pool installation, we backfill with gravel and add water simultaneously. In the video, you'll see that after completing the installation, we replace the water instead of filtering the water that became murky during the installation process. Thank you for your curiosity.

How do you like the Monaco? What’s the pros and cons?
@poolsandboulders33926 ай бұрын
Monaco is my favorite pool, especially in a Shale Grey color. We receive the most positive feedback about this pool model from our clients, especially those who have used it for at least a year. The only downside I can think of, and it’s a significant one, ............... is that it’s not in my backyard.

Where can i purchase a fiberglass pool like this? I've been looking for one and only found one place that manufactures them and sells them. Unfortunately i know nothing about the company or the quality of pool they make. Your pool looks absolutely beautiful. You did a wonderful job.
@poolsandboulders3392 Жыл бұрын
We are installing fiberglass pools In Northern Utah from many major fiberglass pool manufacturers located across US. Yes, you are right. There are many fiberglass pool manufacturers, but their quality differ. Some fiberglass pool manufacturers focusing on the pool strength, some pool manufacturers focusing on the pool designs, some focusing on the looks like surface/color. Basically just like car manufacturers. In my opinion some car manufacturers focusing on the engines like Dodge, some focusing on the cassis like Ford and some on the design/comfort details like Chevy. This particular fiberglass pool is made by Barrier Reef Fiberglass pools. They wont sell the fiberglass pool shell directly to a customer, but they will refer to your local distributor just like us. I would suggest, visiting your city building permit department and ask for which fiberglass pool brands they been issuing permits. Because there been some cases where people purchased fiberglass pools and their local city refused to issue the installation permit for them because they do not approve that specific pool manufacturer.

@poolsandboulders3392 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for viewing this video and especially for commenting. We are very well aware of using spread bar in a low altitude areas or where the long straps are not available. But could you please share your knowledge in regards using the spread bar versus 25 feet long straps, pros and cons, especially lifting a light weight fiberglass pool over the house in a high altitude where the wind gust conditions might be present. We are always eager to learn.

what size is the pool?
@poolsandboulders3392 Жыл бұрын
Factory measurements are 15'10" x 40' long. All Fiberglass pool manufacturers give their measurement from outside the edges of the pool. Which is very convenient for the pool transportation companies. Although in my opinion these numbers are very hazy for the end user. I wish the pool manufacturers would disclose their secondary pool measurements to the end users that would show exact measurements of the water inside the pool. Depth 3'6" up to 7'

Hey just a heads up. The cover is running hard on the right side. Definitely pulling harder from that side. It may just need a rope adjustment. It's definitely 1 of 3 things. Tracks installed out of square, the system installed out of square, or a rope adjustment. You can see it when it's closing. All the wrinkles are pulling to the front corner. This means one of those 3 are needing to be addressed.

This is a very advanced automatic pool cover with the hydraulic system. Its so powerful and dependable, works like the excavator mechanism, pushing the hydraulic fluid through the lines despite the cold or hot weather. In my opinion, this is the best automatic cover system on the market. We install this hydraulic auto cover system ourselves, so the cover price comes with the installation and the price varies depending on the pool style, pool equipment location and other requirements.

Very nice to see that a pool installer clearly uses proper *Schedule 40 rigid PVC, rated NSF-pw* for potable water, and cares about what they buy! Too many use that cheap & inappropriate “flexible PVC” tubing. What's easy is not necessarily better (long-term). Rigid PVC _pipe_ is rated for potable water and is designed for underground use, for several decades. Chlorinated water will degrade “flex PVC” tubing; soft plastics are unhealthy and should never be used to convey water you either drink or bathe/swim in.

I would love to retrofit my pool with one of these, but how does the patio surface mount cover track not present a tripping hazard in building code inspector language? On a rectangular shaped pool the track could be close to the pool edge always, but on a custom shape pool the track is the smallest rectangle that covers all of the pool. On a custom pool that could leave the track several feet from the pool edge in a few places.
@PoolProjectsRUS2 жыл бұрын
Yes and it's a small trip step. Also makes the deck less usable cause all the tables and chairs need to be off the cover area

Looks very nice, though its a little concerning not seeing any compaction on your back fill, or use of non compaction drain rock. In cold climates if moisture were to get trapped behind the wall it could result in frost heave pushing the rocks out, especially since many of the rocks appear to be standing up on end.

Super impressive you are building the walls with just a thumb. That house is unreal. How do you go about sourcing your rocks? They all seem to be pretty rounded off I’ve built a few here in Massachusetts but a lot of the rocks tend to be jagged many with sharp faces

Not the OP but boulder walls are everywhere in Utah as are boulders. Sometimes they just use rock from the site.
