One of my favorite things to do in Disney California Adventures is the Animation Academy... Let me know if you liked my rendition of Baymax! This has been a super fun trip, so we are looking forward to sharing Day 2 with you soon. :)

Hi! How did y'all get to the resort? We are staying at Carribean Beach Resort and wondering if theres a way to get to the breakfast by bus or if we need to Uber. Thanks!
@journeywithjinandmike4 күн бұрын
Good question!! We did drive; however, I believe there is a shuttle bus that transports between the parks/Disney Springs to/from the Four Seasons. Not sure if that is for their resort guest only, but it may be an option to look into!

I don't think it's so bad. But I still believe Splash Mountain is better.

There are definitely high points in the attraction, but there are also quite a bit of “dead space” for sure. I think I’m going to give it time. Definitely miss Splash though!

Check out my review at the 24:33 mark! Have you been on Tiana's Bayou Adventure yet? If so what did you think?

They downsized the lobster roll!

Oh that’s interesting! We were there last year, too! The portion size didn’t seem significantly different this year, but it’s quite possible! More for less, that seems to be the trend unfortunately!

Can you ask for a box for the food? Im worried mt daughter won't eat any of it and its 135, I would feel so bad to leave it LOL

lol I totally get it, and we didn’t finish it ourselves!! Yes they give you a box to take home the dessert items! I had Ariel’s dinglehopper cake pop for like the next 3 days, cuz it’s cute but just so darn sweet!!!

So neat!! Planning a disneyland vacay for the future. Do you have to have disneyland admission tickets to book the breakfast?
@journeywithjinandmike14 күн бұрын
This is a wonderful breakfast for sure! And no! You don’t need a ticket to Disneyland or a theme park reservation! This one is inside the Grand Californian, so it’s easy and comes with 5 hours of complementary parking! Hope you enjoy!!!

Wait question so when you went to the lower level next to the water, was that for everyone or did youbask or does it get packed?
@journeywithjinandmike28 күн бұрын
Great question! The lower deck by the reserved seating is roped off and only for the Fireworks Package guests. Typically, that area would have been open to the fireworks dining package guests anyway, but sometimes they close it off due to wind and weather. We went back again for Luminous more recently to check out their dining package and were able to sit right next to the water. Hope this helps!

Is the food better at Boma or ar Tusker House?
@journeywithjinandmike29 күн бұрын
Woo, that’s a tough one! But if we had to answer, we would probably put Boma slightly ahead. The food is actually quite similar being they’re both more African-inspired and tend to be more adventurous. But Boma also doesn’t require a park ticket but no characters there. Ultimately, we don’t think you can go wrong with either just depends on if you’re looking for a character experience or not…
