Chi può resistere a un buon piatto di pesce? I Monty Python ci ricordano che a volte le piccole cose sono quelle che contano di più. #MontyPython #IlSensoDellaVita #Cinema #Commedia #Cult #Food

My husband died almost a year ago. He was a drummer, and music was a big thing that we shared for 20+ years. We had our differences, but we also shared a love of a lot of musicians. I've liked Japan's Tin Drum since it came out, but it's only been since my husband passed that I delved deeper into all of Japan's work and particularly Mick's solo work. It pains me that we didn't get to share this, because it's something both of us would have deeply enjoyed for multiple reasons. Not being able to share this with him just makes the loss hit hard once again. Not helped with the fact that Mick died before his time, too.

I wish someone would tidy this up visually. It is a great live rendition of the song- it deserves some TLC.

This is that type of song that can communicate even if you don't know the lyrics. Just listening the music you feel sad and the beautiful childish carefree behind It. Maybe the music communicate something different compared to the lyrics, which are more politica and social

It's David Sylvian's solo tour in 1988, titled "In Praise of Shamans." As for the accompanying musicians, they were not performing under a specific band name. They were individual artists and collaborators who joined Sylvian for this tour. The ensemble included Steve Jansen, Richard Barbieri, Robbie Aceto, Mark Isham, Ian Maidman, and David Torn. Each of these musicians brought their unique talents and backgrounds to the tour, contributing to the distinctive sound of the performances.

Dweezil even does the tucked finger picking style FZ used. I remember back in the day, Dweezil described FZs fingering as "the weirdest most twisted spider."

For sure Jan 's been a master all along his career, but he had to deal with the "new age" times to make his best stuff up. The late nineties records are simply hard to beat, in my humble opinion.

I love this album. Mendoza, as usual, is brilliant. His compositions and arrangements are beautiful. The cast of players on this album ( Will Lee, Gary Peacock, Bob Mintzer, Scofield, Erskine etc.) reads like a who’s who.
