Great tune. Didn't need 2 keyboard players, but oh well. This is an under celebrated classic. Phish should cover this.

Ive never seen this Later With Jools Holland appearance. I'm a big fan of Paul Weller, but it was actually a clip of Freedom Rider on The Tube way back in the 80s hosted By Jools Holland, before Weller went solo, that first got me interested in Traffic. Steve Winwood is a legend. So pleased that it transpired Weller was also a fan.

I remember going to one of their shows to promote this album. It was simply awesome. There has never really been another creation like Traffic. These guys give the concept of "musical space" a meaning all their own.

Great performance of this Traffic classic from their 1968 album, which was simply titled Traffic. It sounded fantastic then & it still holds up today. Winwood' s voice is still excellent. Does anyone know was playing the flute in this lineup?

I saw him in Pittsburgh's Civic Arena in the 1980's, I think he opened for Rush. He should have played 1 more tune!

Why is this captiioned Later with Jools Holland when there is a "Jimmy" logo top right?
@gstouff
@gstouff 11 ай бұрын
Jimmy is for "Canal Jimmy", a french TV Channel that would air a lot of concerts, and also Jools Holland's shows for the french television. I recorded it on VHS back then!
