At the end of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, Obi Wan was told that his Old Master Quai gon Jin returned from the force to Continue his training. The training, to become "One with the force". So Ben Kenobi former known as Obi Wan Kenobi went into the Exile in Tatooine to learn to become one with the Force. In the fight against Darth Vader he used his knowledge to become "One with the Force" and literally Evade dying.

Possibly the best car chase sequence ever done for a TV show to that point...set to the gayest (even for 1971) and most inappropriate music possible. Very strange. [Before you foam at the mouth and call me a bigot, I showed this to my gay friend Chris, and his exact words were: "No, you're right, that is a VERY gay song."]

Stop complaining about the fight itself, i don't care if they are doing flips and tricks, only if Maul is fighting. It´s all about the emotion. Everybody knew that there were a great conflict between them, both now and in the past. The mystery of the past.

"if you strike me down i will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine" could this be in reference to that fact that when obi-wan kenobi himself witnessed his master, Qui-Gon Jinn, killed by darth maul he went on to kill darth maul. symbolically taking over his masters roll the same way he hopes luke seeing him killed will strengthen him? i don't know a lot about starwars so maybe i'm missing something?

When Darth Vader stroke down Obi wan he didn't perished, instead he became one with the force and became a force ghost, as a force ghost he's more powerful than Darth Vader, obi wan can guide luke anywhere he wanted to, his old age will no longer weaken him, this is what obi wan was talking about

Well, maybe. But actually, I think it's a reference to the very end of ROTS when Yoda said to Obi Wan that he found the way to immortality. When Vader killed Obi Wan here, he just became immortal, which is why he says that he would become more powerful than ever, because this power is very strong when you think about it (that's why only him and Yoda are ghosts in the original trilogy... And well Anakin too, but I don't really have any explanation to that)

Just finished watching episode 3 in young adulthood and I understand the story far more better than when I was a kid. Now watching this scene seemed really intense. I felt like I was watching a movie. I understand now that Vader didn't win this battle. He lost... I also understand now that the sith truly are the weak ones. If Vader failed to understand what Ben was trying to do, then he's not even mature yet either...
