4:48 Yes and it's the beauty of it, considering how they did the story. The only reason Sam and Dean made it that long was because God was writing their story. They literally had plot armor. What made you think the "I love you" meant Castiel was in love with Dean? They were practically family, and those are words you utter to people close to you. Neither of them had ever implied that they were lgbt, unless I am just terrible at picking up things I am not looking for..? Castiel hadn't been there since the beginning, so I completely understand why they kept him out of the last scene, and since he had already said his goodbye. Bringing him back other than a mention that he's ok, would've atleast for me- have ruined the beautiful farewell/sacrifice earlier in the season. We didn't have to remember Jenny, the point was that she was still alive, and clearly she was a psycho that eventually ended up stumbling upon the Winchesters. Dean dying on a hunt was the perfect ending as it allowed his brother to move on and have the life he always wanted. Anything can kill them, and now without Chuck. Obviously, anything would eventually do so. Homophobic?? It literally had Charlie & Claire. Ableist? Eileen. Misogynistic? There have been plenty of female actors throughout the show...? Racist? There have been plenty of people of colour throughout the show...?
