Nope AAA coaches and orgs ruin hockey for most kids who are talented with parents not having thousands laying around to spend.

As a former major junior player this is not efficient. Just take bigger strides with more power.
@davidfly742624 минут бұрын
Tend to agree with you on that. If you’re making strides like this, you’re already beat and likely on someone else highlight tape.

The only thing I have against that move is if it's their only move and they do it at the wrong time, they could get plowed head first into the boards. I had a guy do that to me at the last second 3 ft from the boards in Bantam, and all I could do was try to hold back how hard I hit him

Thanks! I bought a bunch of pucks and shoot til I "run out." I've been doing it wrong. I've been practicing handles and shooting w/o looking at the puck, and also, looking at the puck and only looking at my target for a split second (like in most game situations), then shooting.

On rollerblades wouldn't you need the back foot sideways to push off of it?
@ZachWhoIsTall21 сағат бұрын
Angled sure, it doesn’t need to be perpendicular to your target though.

I love hockey but its so much less accessible compared to other sports like a basketball or a soccer so stuff like this can help those kids who couldn't afford recreational hockey learn the game and help them keep up with he kids who did a little better
