This song has really helped me understand grief better. I just lost my grandma who was like a mother to me and it was quite hard to cope with the feeling of losing somebody that means a lot in your life. Somehow the "seasons grow, seasons die" part resonated with me and made me understand that life works that way and I am going to die too someday, thing that is completely normal. I was confused looking at my relatives not seeing them as sad as I thought they would be, that's where I remembered people heal different ways. It's hard to get used to change, but it is part of being human. Thing that we all have to learn through life. I love how Sampha always has thoughtful lyrics, what a great piece of art.
