@@snackdaddy5770 Hi, first the sentiments were basically all the passengers. Many had been on a dozen or more Regent cruises and said this was their last. Apparently Regent has gone down hill since Norwegian took it over. Second, they never revealed what the issue was. Very bad on their part. The passengers that wheeled their own luggage disembarked because of the delay. They left before arriving at the final port of Barcelona. Regardless of the reason, staff should have assisted with taking the luggage down the gangway and assisted people in wheelchairs and walkers. They did nothing. Cruising a supposed luxury line without the luxury. In recent polling, Regent has been rated the bottom of all luxury cruise lines. Since this cruise we have taken 2 Silverseas cruises and they were wonderful. The true meaning of luxury cruising and we are going on another in January. Regent missed the opportunity with us for 3 cruises since that cruise. Hope this helps you in your decision but there are many better options than Regent.

@@victoriabrown9898 Check out the recent ratings for cruise lines. You’ll find Regent at the bottom of the list in Luxury Lines. My video is in line with the rating they received. Much better options for your money

Excursions on Silversea are handled as you would expect on a luxury cruise line. Smaller groups. Personal attention. On Regent we had to meet in a lounge, turn in our excursion tickets for new ones and wait to be called. On Silversea you just went ashore at the designated time and the staff met you on the dock and escorted you from there.

@@Robin_S78 This was the first cruise we have ever been on that the management crew was nasty and uncaring to the guests. This all begins with the new President of Regent and has become their new philosophy.

I suggest you look into Silversea. They clearly understand luxury. We did an Alaskan cruise on the Silver Muse and it was excellent. We are going on the Silver Ray in a few weeks.

Thank you for watching. There is no expectation of privacy when filming in public spaces. The crewman’s comment clearly showed how rude the management staff is of Regent. The video does clearly show how service staff was accommodating and joyful of being filmed.

Been on silver seas muse and seaborne the last few years totally underwhelmed by service at several of the restaurants. Going on Regent in a week.

Steve I will be doing a ship tour video as well as a commentary on the cruise along with Regents response to issues. Many people onboard have been repeat Regent clients and they all indicate Regent has steadily declined over the years to the point this was their last Regent cruise. The motto on board was “Luxury Cruising without the Luxury”. There is a clear issue with the line starting at the top with CEO Andrea De Marco. Stay tuned for more!!
