Johnny Be Good was originally done by Chuck Berry. Peter Tosh did a covered version of the said song in 1983. In other words, Peter Tosh is not the original composer of the song.

The guitar solo on the Peter Tosh version of this song was played by Donald Kinsey who left us recently too. Rest In Power Donald . You’ve left us to join the original Wailers Band in Zion😢🙏🏾🙏🏾
