I watched a playthrough of this Game many years ago and now more recently. First time I watched it was 15 years ago. Elizabeth Freaked me the hell out. Especially the boss battle. I learned a lot of people have trouble with that boss fight. When she finally gets killed I was relieved she was finally gone. Now that I've watched the paythrough again I got more interested in the characters and read about on wiki and the comics. There are certain things I've considered within the story. Like how Elizabeth Greene became so malicious. I don't think she was truly evil just vengeful. In fact neither was Alex in P2. Elizabeth Greene was just like any normal young adult not even out of her teens yet when things went left. Blackwatch took everything from her. To top it all off, Blackwatch take from her the last thing she probably ever cared about, her new-born son. From the sound of things she didn't even get to hold the kid let alone kiss or breastfeed him. After the 40 years she spent being separated from that child I don't think she ever forgot that. In fact I think her hate for humanity may have been born from the events of Hope, Idaho 1969. I'd be pissed too, but maybe not to that degree. Even still she probably was like "you kill my family and friends destroy my entire home and then you take my child from me? I'm DONE with Blackwatch and the human race in general, and making my own species where I am queen" etc.... I'm just theorising but that and her actions in P1 does look very similar to what Alex wanted to do in P2, who developed a hate for humanity too. It seems both Alex and Elizabeth had been subject to the worse mankind had to offer in their lives that may potential of turned them both. Being physically superior to them regular humans in every way they probably reasoned why should they tolerate the injustice? In conclusion my heart would not allow me to enjoy this boss fight for those reasons. Not that she didn't probably deserve her death after the destruction she causes. But the idea of Killing Elizabeth Greene is kind of tragic. Knowing she was actually perhaps in pain internally and the fact she would never be reconciled with her son, or even get revenge for what Blackwatch did to her and everyone in Hope Idaho, even the families and the Hope babies that died soon after being born because of the virus. As the only one of two survivors from Hope that was even old enough to comprehend the evil of it all, she could of been carrying all of that on her shoulders. What I'm actually admitting is, I think she is potentially the perfect villain within the series, because I believe she’s very understandable when you really think about it even despite, she doesn’t talk much at all. In fact I'm working on a lore friendly fanfic novel sequel, where Elizabeth and Alex gets a return, (Backlight reconstruction) & (severed hands theory), Pariah is certainly in it but is not like what anyone who's only heard of him thinks he is(monstrous), is all I'll say for now. That's what this awesome game and it's interestingly written characters has inspired me to do as of late.

No gameplay limits alex is insane and true shwo how powerful mercer is,even without armor taking every tank shoots, helicopter missiles and all the soldier bullets he taked 0 damage
