Do you remember where the (presumably) radio snippet you got stems from? really took me by surprise as someone in the area of the towns mentioned.

Hey! I remember that. That is the sound of IOS back then. The sound of a liminal space, between sound and awareness, between states of consciousness. There are perceptible limits yet an expansive sense of space, and of course no recognizable instruments!

*really* interesting to see process in action here. Hearing the Inside Agitator CD first time in mid '94 or so, I only had my minds eye to paint in the pictures conjoured by the sounds.. they were so utterly different to what one would hear "day to day". This whole performance is just great. Such a beautiful cacophony. <3

As IOS Twice in Chicago at Ramova theater and a Gallery forget the name. Also in Chicago as Solid state (with Jim O’Rourke Spencer Sundell and Douglas Walker). Once in SF once in Denver. I forget the exact years offhand. These were some of the best experiences ever Crash Worship really knew how to get down and get us up

It is a funny historical moment for sure. It’s the only segment I have from that show, we performed 3 tracks I believe. They did not know what to make of us, who did/does? Except Maybe you :)
@intangiblearts Жыл бұрын
There was definitely the end-credits clip but i recall a longer excerpt, so there may be more on that VHS tape. If I can dig it up & get it to play (never a guarantee in 2023), happy to digitize & send .. Or it could be that pesky false-memory syndrome again. but yes, the age of noisemakers-on-public-access was an odd moment.
