That course they picked out for us was brutal. I mostly ride around browns and lyda so that was a big change in pace.

It was gnarly in some spots for sure! I hear that the course was easier than the Devils Head! Good workout and excellent weather though!

thar's part of Lyda Hill, between Lyda Hill 13,16 and 19 as marked on OnXoffroad. it keeps going but we usually do just that one bit for warmup 😀

Ya man. Clark's Branch is something else. Last year I pulled off after 1 lap also. Steep is one thing, but dusty steep and loose is a whole other thing.😂😂 Great riding dude.

Nice ride! We were on the same line N557s on the KTM. I got an absolute shit start and was dead last. Locked into a grove and chased the guy on the Yamaha (minute 16:15 on the vid) for probably 10 miles but just didn’t have the pace for him so I backed off and settled in. Finished 4th and got an AC separation for a trophy! See y a at the next one.

well done! The fun part: once I saw you had the "S" on your helmet I was like "dang I should have made them work for it!" 😀but well, I was simply in survival mode on lap 1, I did slightly better on lap 2, was able to make a few passes, but only one was in our class. Def happy not to have made a 3rd lap! :-D Next one will be Washougal for me, I'm doing only the OMRA races this year...

Good riding dude. Very tricky conditions, but you didn't stop behind anyone on a hill a second time after the first guy held you up and you kept your momentum. 👍👍 Looked like a fun day at Timber mountain.

@dirt_rider I wasn't able to make this race. Had my daughter for the weekend and she didn't wanna camp and go to the races, especially in the rain. Ya looking ahead and keeping momentum is very helpful. You get 20' each side of the course so anytime someone stops, gets stuck or tips over you gotta go around without stopping. So helpful to keep moving, keep from getting stuck and stop log jams.

That's a good loop. I've stayed away from back to back because I thought it was all single track. Good to know it's not. Trails looked in great condition. Thanks for the ride!

it's almost single track in some points, just make sure you make the right turns otherwise you'll end up on the crazy steep hill climbs :-)

PS:I want to try to go left on Tri-loop near the end of it (see 00:41:04 ), it should bring us to a ridge and then maybe down cramlets cliff, the double black part that we tried uphill?

Did you foul a plug? I had idle issues and bike dying while riding slow and technical so I swapped the idle screw for an adjustable and haven't had any issues since. Also I fouled a plug last weekend on warmup because I didn't use the cold start knob.

ended up replacing the crankcase pressure sensor, I could probably fixed with just a cleaning, but well, now runs as good as new!
