This was very disappointing interview. I understand the cast is very large but the focus this season is Colin and Pen’s love story, friends to lovers. They barely spoke to Luke Newton and Nicola basically added to others comments. To much time with spent with the actors who play the Queen and Lady Danbury and the show Queen Charlotte. Netflix should know how to choose and produce a show for the two actors who are taking this show worldwide like no other. I loved how Polite Claudia Jessie was and how much she appreciates being apart of the cast of this amazing series. I hope part 2 focuses more on Colin and Pen’s story with Eloise and Lady Whistledown. The other storylines I could careless about.

Also- I was always and continue to stan the #polin love story, so this will likely be my favorite season- although I think I have more interest in seeing Eloise’s and Francesca’s stories play out in the future. And hope #polin remains as much a part of future seasons of the show as they have been in the books.

I read the physical books when they came out originally when I was heavily into reading romance novels and this series and Julia Quinn were always favorites and were re-read multiple times, so I was thrilled when I saw they were being turned into a series and have remained super invested. They are also now the only audio books I have ever “read”, and might be the gateway to actually listening to more audio books. I would LOVE to hear the audiobooks with the show actors reading out the dialogue for their characters.

I love watching this episode now that part one has come out. It’s amazing how much they said, without saying. It’s fun to read between the lines and know which parts of the show it corresponds to. Although, Julia I’m not sure about the happiness that it is released in 2 parts

I love Adjoa and Golda. The gravitas and the depth of experience that they both have and bring to their characterse is practically palpable. Absolutely amazing actors and absolutely amazing women.
