Helped me out! the programing is what concerns me. Im beginning the brainstorming process to convert my 83 xl600r to efi. Mainly I just needed to make myself a new wiring harness because the lighting circuit is shorted somewhere and all the wires are just old. Its a single cylinder 600 with two carbs set up sequentially, left primary right opens later and spits more air and fuel. Essentially going to mimic that with two 28-30mm throttle bodies with there own injector port and intake valve

Thanks for the video, setting up my staged injectors and your video pretty much answered my questions except, How does the staged injection work without the table selection, and instead on duty cycle? I'm concerned because I see 135% duty cycle in data logs-at high boost, and am not sure if the secondaries are opening after my 80 percent duty cycle first parameter, or if my primary injectors are in fact running way over their limit at 135% duty cycle. How does that work with one ve table? Because with the staged injection on, I'm am seeing 206 in my ve table. Does the duty cycle just combine primary and secondary injector duty cycle number? Can it auto tune like this with staged injectors set on duty cycle for microsquirt, with tuner studio? Thanks for your time!

How would one set Over-run Fuel cut on a motorcycle without a throttlebodyMAP sensor (only baro)? setting it to engage at MAP lower than 120 kPa would result in a lot of unwanted fuel cut situations right?

What about batch fire settings? But using MS3x plug.. i had to switch to standard fuel to get any testing response. How do i know for sure im testing batch?

great videos! my question is, if you are using water injection and it adds oxygen to the AFR, why don't you have to add fuel? is it cause the water is also adding a cooling effect? I understand that water injection is a band-aide for crappy tuning, but also a power adder or an efficiency adder to a good tune. thanks

in addition to knowing what all of these settings mean, I need to know the order or the step-by-step plan to which sections to address first, second third etc. also the situations and cases when some of these settings should be tuned or just left alone. I like to keep things simple, but I also like advance tuning IF they can be employed simply... thanks for the videos.

great videos. I don't understand why AFR protection would be needed to kill spark, if the VE table was tight enough from tuning with data logs. to me, that would be an extra correction table that could interfere and act as a problem when there isn't one. can you give me a situation where AFR protection could be useful, so I can understand better? thanks...

Would ignition events per step be at a radically different value if I were running a 4 cylinder? Seeing as you have an 8 cylinder, does that make a difference?

I think you need to dumb it down a bit for me. So the MS2 is able to do 2 separate banks (Or sets of injectors) right? So for my 6cyl it would be firing 3 injectors at once for each bank? But with MS3 i can fire all six injectors individually?

The MS1 / MS2 ECUs are batch fuel with 2 injector banks (the MS2 can run seq and semi-seq) but this doesnt mean it throws fuel away, it simply means that the fuel sits in the inlet manifold cooling the valve(s) and vaporising until that valve opens and that cylinder sucks it in. Sequential fuel would allow the fuel more time in the manifold as this would be squirted in just as the valve shuts, therefor giving maximum vaporisation, you dont put fuel in whilst the valve is open if you can help it

So your saying if i was to get a MS2 and run it on a 6cyl then it would fire two injectors at once? But if i got a MS3 then it would activate one injector at a time? So im guessing it would use allot more fuel? and possibly throw off the o2 sensor?

The recording seems to be a bit messed up in this part. Like the screen is frozen and you are talking about stuff we can't see. And in the last bit of the video it is completely frozen with no sound after you bring up the idle VE table. Maybe you should check it and maybe make a new recording of this?
