I'm amazed at the comments saying how brilliant Mick's playing is...Yes, he an excellent bassist but SURELY you can see in this video he is "taking the PISS" (ridiculing) the SIMPLICITY of the that boring bass line...like I'll have a sandwich while the intro plays and the yawns and silly faces he pulls whilst playing.....remember he is English....We make fun of things and have a laugh and a joke....

I frequently come back to watch this one,. Being a big fan going back to the 80s, never ceases to amaze me the eclectic stuff he cooks up. Not just a ridiculously talented musician/songwriter, but he crosses more boundaries than most musicians, period!

Years ago I stumbled across an interview in print by Nick with Chris Squire. I got the impression they met up in some club or whatnot (in London?) and anyway, Nick interviewed him, at Nick's home I think. I didn't know he was the bass player for Kajagoogoo at the time. Anyway as a big Squire fan, I enjoyed the interview very much. I can't seem to find it anymore though. It seems ironic that years later, Steven Wilson was going for a Chris Squire vibe on Luminol, which you did amazingly and with your Spector no less. Thanks for all the great music and playing inspiration over the years mate!

Probably the best bassist of his genre. Nick is an amazing musician. That bass work on too shy is almost too much for the track. It actually makes the track what it is. Imo...

I never forgot seeing the Bands Reunited show as a college kid and seeing what an example you were Nick, of incredible decency, humanism, forgiveness and consideration. Your kids are very lucky to have such a well intentioned and thoughtful man as a father. All the best to you and thanks for being you, it's a lesson of decency that has stuck with me for many years. Cheers.
