I know this is an older KZbin but wondering if you could share where you got your parts from. I have a similar warrior but just starting the restoration project :)
@wisted9 ай бұрын
Sourced parts from probably dozens of vendors. What are you looking to do with your Warrior?
@taazmania9 ай бұрын
Well first steps are to give it a good cleaning. But then I really like a lot of the modifications you did from the mattress to the usb. I don’t have that door bell thing so I might just add that for some fun nostalgia. 😅 but I also need to do some basic replacement pieces to bring it up to snuff. I’ve had a time trying to navigate the many online catalogues. It’s not as easy as getting regular replacement parts. I was hoping there was a one stop shop for stuff like that. ❤
@wisted9 ай бұрын
That would have been a godsend if there was such a thing when I was going through mine. You really have to be kind of creative and explore lots of different options when it comes to sourcing your parts. Of course, some stuff you can just grab off the shelf like what I did with the Airlift kit, audio upgrades, and thankfully the power converters are still produced. Don't skimp on the electrical and plumbing. Make sure to go through everything exhaustively because there will be more than a few things that have decayed due to age. A juicy upgrade is a Maxxair fan, something I would have done had I kept it.

Nice unit! I own a 1991/2 Toyota as well, but mine is the Itasca Spirit by Winnebago. Same layout though. I replaced the jackknife sofa with something a single person can sleep on without needing to unfold it, have painted and papered, removed the old toilet, and done a bunch of other things to freshen it up and make it brighter inside. I love it! Good gas mileage too. A year and a 1/2 ago I painted the exterior. Turned out amazing! These are such awesome rigs for those of us who want the comfort but not the size of a bigger RV.

is it bad to leave a hole in the bottom of the pad?

I feel that with the username yeetplyr there must be an innuendo involved, but it's not a recommended tactic to leave a hole in the bottom of the pad. Holes lead to unnecessary seepage and chunky matter not prescribed for drinking

On your next restoration, take those yellowed pieces down (ac, lights, etc) and coat them with Salon 40 creme (it's a cream based hydrogen peroxide), saran wrap and a heat method (hair dryer is fine or outside warm weather for a few hours) and that will lighten them up really well, almost back to white.

This was my Winnebago ! I bought from an elderly woman in N j. I had so much fun working on it inside and out, kept me from going bonkers! Only reason I sold it was because I was told camp grounds would not let older motor homes camp there. This was not true. So wish I still had it. dottienana
@wisted2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like someone crafted a pretty convincing tale to get you to sell your Toyhome. The truth is, many campgrounds do have age restrictions, but most of them will look the other way when they see a very well maintained Toyota motorhome. They reserve the right to refuse, of course, so it is always best to disclose prior to arrival. These days, it's less necessary to stay at an RV campground because you can install solar, with lithium batteries and large inverters to replicate the luxuries of shore power when needed.

Owned a 1991 Toyota Winnebago identical to yours with a 3.0 litre V6. There was a recall on the head gasket on that engine that needs completed to prevent possible engine failure. My recall was completed pre 30,000 mile mark and never had an issue. When the rig was sold it had 171,000 miles still running strong.
@jakeheath19042 жыл бұрын
Hi mike I’m running into the same issue with mine. Do you know if the warranty is still valid today??
@milemarker_oscar_mike2 жыл бұрын
@@jakeheath1904 I know Toyota keeps a record of if your recall was ever performed , when it was performed and what dealership did your recall. You will need your vin # when you call them. First step check to see if the recall was ever done on your rig or not. For example mine was completed in 1999 when the rig was about 8 years old. They do still keep records back that far.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! what type of coffee machine are you using in this video?
@wisted2 жыл бұрын
It's a Senseo by Philips if I'm not mistaken. This video was shot in 2009 originally, and back then the top dog in pod coffee was not yet Keurig with their now-ubiquitous Pods. While a changing of the guard has occurred in the last 13 years, we feel our video is still relevant which is why we've never updated the content. Josh still travels extensively across the globe educating others on his special penny-saving technique, and my last conversation with him was just a few days ago as he left a coffee pod convention with thousands of attendees. He typically is very generous and willing to dispense signatures as well as advice if you happen to corner him at the next convention.

Welp… Amongst all of the, just absolutely horrible and sh*tty reviews about Carvana, all over the internet, I am super duper glad that they at least do their job, SOME OF THE TIME! I’m about to get a car from them, at a vending machine. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
@wisted2 жыл бұрын
I don't know anybody personally that had a negative experience with them. I think like anything else, you're more likely to hear about the negative stuff online, as these demagogues are in pursuit of clicks.

@@wisted Excellent! Yeah…. I am actually picking up at a vending machine, and the videos that I have seen, of others doing so, well…. Those cars look GORGEOUS, up in there! Also…. Those videos typically show the customer driving in the car. It all looks clean and perfect (as much as a video can show). Definitely. I’m not immune to the fact that people out there just want clicks. Still…… The negative IS quite overwhelming. On the other hand, it looks to me like Carvana is a bit of an industry disruptor, so, of course, people (especially other used car dealerships) are going to be mad about that. Just my two cents. I am glad that you had a great experience! I’m looking forward to my pickup! And, yes. I AM trading in a car. 😃
