Are you supposed to still use a heat protectant if you wanna get straight hair?

Thanks, but you’re going too slowly so you’re burning your hair.

Hi. Can you provide any tips on how to preserve your silk press with short hair while working out? Short hair lengths such as pixie to a short bob. Like some of the comments, I sweat a lot so my hair ends up reverting back.

Does your hair also become more stretchy when wet? Or is this just a sign of needing a protein or bonding treatment? I halted my heat training journey because I was not sure, but I am still enjoying fewer single strand knots and being able to brush my scalp and put my hair up in a ponytail.

I started end of July 😂 so to speed up the training process I did weekly silk presses with a titanium flat iron. That's the cheat code ladies you'll be heat trained in 3-4 months tops. Now my hair doesn't revert in humidity so I do every 2 weeks now. Looking forward to straight hair all summer 😀

I was heat trained for two decades then i tried the "natural trend" but i was over the "natural hair" nightmare. So i went back to my heat trained hair and your products helped bring me and my Daughter's hair back to Life. Our hair is thriving again and i Luv it. Unless you guys go out of business and the products stop working on our hair i'll be using these products. I've never been one to put all the crazy products i was using in my hair from avocados, to bananas, hell i had so many products i could've had a garage sale 🤣 🤣. Now my shelf is all Hydratherma Natural products. And i'm enjoying this new heat training journey. GOD BLESS 2025 🙏🏾 🙏🏾.

Hey beautiful lady I know this video is old but was your hair natural or relaxed here? I had success with the GHE in the past but I recently began blowdrying my hair to minimize ssk and I'm scared of it reverting under the processing cap. I have been considering just braiding my hair without straightening it before starting this again what do you recommend? Thanks in advance

Are the two ponytails better why not wear the wrap to the gym? Please respond I’m struggling 😂😂😅

Yes it is because you will get the middle section of the hair to dry faster and stay straight after it dries.

Thanks for doing this. I would go for the ceramic just because I want to keep my curls and avoid heat damage however I'm wondering if the titanium would help me get a straighter effect because I noticed with the ceramic I have to keep doing several passes to get my hair straight 🤔

Giiiiirl. This completely saved me. I would jist go withouy exercising to save my silk press because I'm natural. I sweat so bad and my hair would just puff up. I tried it and my hair did not puff. I let it dry and i never thought to use a blow dryer at all until watching and reading comments. This method truly works

I started heat training in 2007. I started because when i tried to wear my hair natural, i had tons of breakage and the final salon appointment i had, the stylist told me my hair was naturally thin so perms would not be the best. So i havent been to a salon or had a perm since 2007. I do still have breakage but it's not as bad and i've been able to retain length. My natural pattern is damaged but thats what heat does but i usually wear my hair straight so i dont care 😂

Hey Saleemah, Where did you buy this scarf? I’m looking for a new one and hesitate with maybe the Dominican “dubie” hairnet or a more sports scarf, what would you recommend for short to medium hair? Many thanks for your book & channel im seeing progress in my hair length , and almost no breakage 😍😍😍😍
