When i watched series last year, I thought that ok series plot is that government trying to avoid some terrorists to change history.I did not understand Flinn doing.But then.Actually that government people were terrorists and Flinn actually protected history from them.It was very Bad seeing him dying.

Amazing video: this one should have been the real final scene and not more kisses between lucy and wyatt (after the scene of brasil). Moreover another point is that, during the scene in brasil, i would have changed 1 sentence: "What about my family?" "You will... you will get them back" So in this case the final scene would have created an amazing possibility for a spin-off and a big question. Did lucy lie to him? or....... Did they find a solution and they put it in the diary? ;) Because if not there would be no sense. If Lucy says to him that he cannot get them back, so...in this case it is possible that Flynn would never have tried all what we saw in first season. Why? Because he wouldn't have had any motivation to do it.

That's why I simply ignore and reject the existence of that awful, horrible, disgusting and so very disappointing final movie! I'd rather call it a crazy, sloppy, illogical and _totally out-of-character_ fanfiction instead of a real and normal ending... So I don't accept it as part of the canon and the official end of the story and pretend it never happened. 😉 And Lucy and Wyatt _do not match_ at all! (They have _nothing_ in common, for God's sake!!!)

That's definitely one way to look at it. Very risky of her to tell him this. Then we just ask ourselves: Does he still deep down hope and believe that he can save them? If not, it makes his sacrifice all the greater and more heartbreaking. Perhaps that was the intent of the writers.

Heoll, you can always check the description box of my videos for information about the programs and shows used etc. In this case I used a video editing program called Sony Vegas pro, version 12.0 🙂

It's interesting to consider that Rittenhouse had a bunch of sleeper agents throughout time. They were stopped by the Timeless team having 1 sleeper agent, Flynn. He fits the profile, sorta, of a sleeper agent, except inverted. A Rittenhouse sleeper is a person from modern times sent back to the past to make specific changes and do specific things. Flynn was someone from the present given information from the future, instructing him to make specific changes to his present and affect things that way. Literally, a mirror image of a Rittenhouse sleeper. In that respect as well, the Timeless team themselves count as a foil to Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse used the time machine to artificially mess with and control time. The Timeless team used the time machine to set the timeline to what it was without interference, to allow time to be itself without control. It makes sense that the sleeper agents for Rittenhouse and the Timeless team are foils to one another too.

I simply ignore and reject the existence of that awful, horrible, disgusting and very disappointing final movie, I cannot accept it as part of the canon and the official end of _Timeless_ and Lucy and Flynn's story!!! (I'd rather call it a crazy, sloppy, illogical, _totally out-of-character_ fanfiction instead of a real and normal ending...) What the hell happened to this so ecxiting and interesting series (full of logical and historical goofs and mistakes, yet still an awesome story) with full of chances and opportunities??? 😡 Garcia Flynn shouldn't have passed away, he would have deserved a better, a way better ending, a chance to start a new life, to settle down and have a new family (with Lucy!), a chance to love again and to be loved in return. 💖 Lucy should have been married to him instead of Wyatt!!! (Lucy and Wyatt are so forced, boring and annoying _together_ , they do not match at all and there is simply no spark, no chemistry and no sexual tension between them!) And the series should have been at least twice longer... So I pretend it didn't happen at all. 😉 In my fantasy world (and in my fanfiction) Rufus was saved by Flynn but he didn't have to sacrifice himself, Lucy and Flynn admitted their feelings and emotions to each other, became a couple, got married, had 3 daughters (the eldest is Amy, the youngers are identical twins, Lily and Rose) and lived happily ever after. ❤ Cool video, by the way! 👍 I think Garcia Flynn is a very interesting, well-written character, he's a "loveable villain" who is not two dimensional, who has depths. 😇 And no matter what anybody (including the crazy, stupid scriptwriters) says, he and Lucy belong together. ❤

Also, Wyatt abandonned Lucy for Jessica the first chance he got, and then went back for Lucy immediately once Jessica wasn't an option. Flynn and Lucy are more natural together.

Avan was meant to be Rhy and Rami Alucard. I honestly thought they were better switched but the footage I had was of Rami manipulating flames so I used him as Alucard 😅

As I watch and rewatch it I feel kind of bitter about what Lucy did, as her diary and her words in Sao Paolo clearly programmed Flinn to be confident in his failure. This again is a tricky time changing history issue: she is a strong Rittenhouse blood and achieved her goal while he followed his destiny and never tried to change his story. Why jump out of the boat? Bcs Lucy would not prefer him? Still cannot see why the team could not jump and bring him back. And why Lucy could not tell him to return.So many questions left hanging. I wonder what the scriptwriters had in mind and if they could kindly make a sort of press release we would gladly buy...

Sara Lance is the most layered, versatile and interesting character in the Arrowverse in my opinion! <3 I have watched ALL Sara Lance scenes except the sparse (3 or somehting) episodes in the last few seasons of Arrow and I am in love with this character! <3 Also, like you stated, inspired by her and also by Caity Lotz herself :3
