Si no hubiera existido el mejor tenor de todos los tiempos Franco corelli, esta interpretacion de Francisco Araiza sería sin duda la mejor. Siempre muy cuidadoso de sus facultades vocales y sobretodo conocimiento de lo que interpretó.

I love this aria and wanted to hear someone sing it pretty and as a prayer. He nails it. Each note perfectly in place and not over sung. Brilliant!

No. Uneven tone, Bflat squeaked, certain tones too much covered. Kaufmann, Corelli, Heppner way better. Each in his own style, of course.

Not for him in a million years. His voice shined and showed its best characteristics with Mozart, Massenet or Shubert Lieder. Here he is forced, with difficulties to sing in tune, out of style and incredibly boring. Not a Verdi tenor unless he wants to sing Fenton. BTW, the orchestra is so out of tune as well that it hurts.

Tempo de la prière un peu lent -à mon goût - .Belle interprétation ..bon français et beauté vocale certaine...mais on sent que la voix dans les aigus surtout..blanchit un peu , le timbre se délite ..rôle lourd pour ce ténor di gracia..Eluzalyrics

@@operadog2000 He has a general issue that is uneveness of tones quite often. And he seems to have totally lost a natural touch to his voice as a consequence of his exaggerated technical singing. Sure thing you need technique as a tenor but if you constantly overdo you lack, in this case in particular, a natural sound.
