Thanks Laura. Mine didn’t turn up in a V like yours did though. In fact it’s kind of uneven on each side, goes wide then curves on, goes out again. I think that’s why I’m going to do a border to even it out

Yeah, you have that shawl done too. Have you done all of Crystal’s shawl yet? I have 10 extra stitches at the end of row 35, so may have to adjust as I go along.

Your shawl is beautiful. I have seen Jenna Phipps do a video of her free form crochet. It seems to be a thing with the younger crowd. They are a highly creative bunch.

Hi Darlene, that tote bag is lovely. But the colours on the Skinny Cake shawl are such a beautiful combo. Was at Michael’s today and had to stop and admire the Caron Cakes colours. Didn’t buy!

Hi Darlene - ah, the temptation of places like Michael’s! I don’t even crochet or knit but whenever I pass the Caron Cakes display, I’m tempted! Those ‘macaroon’ Cakes are beautiful.

There were two patterns given so I could choose either one or the other. Or, just use the wool for something else :)

Why do I have to ffw to the end to see what it's going to look like? Show it in the first 10 seconds, describe what it is, briefly describe the process, tools and materials needed, etc. Is that so hard, people?

Love the blanket with the picot edging. How was the yarn Bernat Casa. Never heard of it before. Great scarves. Those wips are going to be beautiful. I love that leave one.

Thank you, Laura. The Bernat Casa is horrible to works with, with the crochet I had to feel around for the stitches and with so many different textures some of them snagged, and did not come out with even edging. I would not recommend it. I really like the lacy leaf pattern as well.

Darlene - when you held up that last shawl I immediately thought of Neapolitan ice cream! What will you do with the unfinished flower shawl - take it apart? Or hold on to it in case you find the yarn to finish it?
