I know I'm 100% too late and nobody will see this, but what if you modification G&B's wall-jump to be more like a ricochet that launches you in a straight line wherever you're aiming? Like a directional super-jump with a finite max distance (so you can't just fly over entire levels). That'd let the pair handle sharp turns and vertical passages in a way that's unique.

The very greatest strength of game modding is its capacity for cooperation. Since nobody's making money, there's no reason to hoard work or ideas. Instead, a community can build off each-other to create something a normal game studio never could.

I've was ALWAYS hoping something like this would happen! Basically every huge content mod was working to do the exact same thing, and I knew inevitably they could only drag one another down. Besides unnecessarily competing, there'd inevitably be features from both mods you'd wish the other had, tainting the overall experience with "if only."
