As a new player coming to blackout i agree that after i hit level 21 going into any low pop online server is filled with level 40+ players running commander or op gear not only are they almost impossible to kill they are always running in a 4-5 group and it feels like the people that arent op are just there to die for the ops/commanders like legit will run in front of the op and tank bullets for him while the others are on roofs with m4s. not only is it discouraging for new players to learn the game but its also just a toxic environment cuz once u kill one person on there (even if they where shooting first) they all just target you with guns that beam from 1 million miles away making the option to server hop look really good. im not saying that beginner servers are too short or the level to get kicked out of them is too high but playing solo is close to impossible on LOW pop servers 20 plus servers are much easier for new players to play on due to the fact that most teams are small enough to kill and not all in op gear/ defending there 2 players in gear while they clear AD/Waves for them. its not impossible to play Blackout as a solo new player but good luck finding a low pop server worth grinding on.

i dont go in high population servers because a whole gang could rush me so like i only do high population's when i have a trio or a squad with me (as an operator)

The REAL salution !!! Blackout doesnt need all this Operator/Photon BS. It was a CHEAP attempt to bring back player counts and it worked but we cant do this anymore. Whats next Operator Commander ? Operator and Photon items should have never been a thing and thats not the REAL gameplay loop/progression of Blackout. Is there a way to make them perfectly ballanced and fit into the gameloop without hurting it ? Probably not or 0.0001% chance, i think that the best salution is just to remove it and think about a new method for a Ballanced and endjoyable gameplay loop that actually has REAL proggresion. Theres a REASON why all the Crim Slayers/Necros/Fallen kits are LIMITED TIME stuff and nurfed to the oblivian.

the difference is crim slayers and necros were very hard to kill. commanders and operators arent that hard when u can spam RPGs, ks db that takes like 3 shots up close, or a stupid sniper that one shots which doesn't even have a glare so you can just kill them without them knowing

@@brago4798 Exactly Blackout has an identety crises, the currently established grind loop isnt even tied to the main progression. Its like its trying to be 2 different games at once, its a good idea but bad execution.

@@kemmyistaken Yea but those are specefic weapons made to kill that exact thing. In crim you could kill a Slayer with less than 2 mags of an M4 which sounds really bad + those kits are limited in something while the operator has NO Limitations.

You cant blame farmbots when people constantly get mass teamed/zerged what the fuck? If the devs just banned mass teaming the farmbot low pops will slowly stop. I'm mostly a solo so low pops is the only way to have fun.

@@kemmyistaken no, they wouldnt stop. many of these farmbot gangs that im talking about are HUGE mass teams themselves, so the reason they stay in these servers to me is because they are scared of pvp. Most of the mass teams ARE farmbot gangs, so im asking them to move into the higher risk servers and out of the solo player ones. When i play low pops as a solo i almost always run into a mass team with operator

@@brago4798 i dont wanna do raids and access in high pops where big gangs will counter me and take my shit I'm not investing in a game that punishes me for playing it making access high pop only is extremely toxic and u don't even realize it. like I said if devs make mass teaming bannable then maybe ill be ok with access in high pops since it wont be TOO unfair. Also, I play low pops all the time solo and I literally never see mass teamers or operators most operators/commanders leave every server after joining for like 10 seconds and if they stay they usually just grind waves or greens and don't bother you unless you try hunting them. Most people in farmbot low pops are solos or duos/trios grinding.

@@brago4798 You do realize too that if operators/commanders don't play in low pops they will just be endlessly hunted by big zergs with RPGs, ks's, and photon accels right? Low pop is the only way they can play the game without losing it. Which I understand is annoying but that's because there's issues preventing them. What do you want these operators to do when the game is designed like this? If I had operator I wouldn't wanna join high pops and be hunted by gangs spamming RPGs or just camping with accels (Keep in mind this gun has no glare so you cant even tell.) You cant blame the people for finding ways to work around the games design. Theres many issues at play in this type of discussion the main issue with this farmbot lowpop stuff is just mass teamers because that's the only reason people use it that way. Again no one is gonna invest a lot of time in a game just to lose their shit to a big ass gang. If they ban mass teaming people will feel more confident to grind in higher pop servers since there wont be a huge risk of them losing their time invested.

Yk that access denied is still very risky, doesnt matter that the explosions are slower, photon accelerators are still a very hard part to deal with if you don't have PERFECT strategies

Access is hard and takes a lot of time to even grind for. Making it not available in low pops is so toxic because literally everyone in non low pops mass teams. You're just gonna lose all your shit soon as you complete access.

@@brago4798 im saying that no one wants to deal with no life tryhards that have 100 rpgs in stash when they are doing waves, people that do waves have 2 choices: suffer (stay in 16 player server full of tryhards and gangs) or just dont suffer (stay in a small server), i know you shouldnt be able to get the best armour in the game so easily but the players have no choice, the devs have to do something to make people have a reason and a chance to do waves and get out without getting spammed by rpgs in bigger servers.
