What grade TITANIUM are the thru-hulls ? are they suitable for below the waterline and is the thread type compatible with the Trudesign ball valve?

Great demonstration and tutorial. I'm rigging up my boat almost exactly like yours, but instead of using two $7K reels, I'm mounting conventional reels and/or the 8" Aluminum Teaser Reels under my hardtop, just under the outrigger mounts like you have. Tight lines 🎣

If you flip the hole saw upside down when you’re squaring it up in the middle I found it easier to see where the middle was since the hole on the saw that attaches to the drill is right up against the t top. It’s more accurate which helps prevent you from scratching up the powder-coated inside of backing plate

Where does the line go when collapsed? Can you run with them collapsed when your not fishing? I have old fixed riggers and thinking about upgrading. Thank you.

An easy way to keep your lines organized and out of the way when you aren't using them is to attach Line Caddies on each pole. OUTRIGGER LINE CADDY, by Taco Marine, Gemlux, Rupp, and other brands ...

Garmin uhd2 94sv would be perfect there. Just installed 2 on my personal restoration I’m doing and they are so much faster and better than the older UHD units. Then a JL head unit (square) in place of old radio would be a good fit. Kicker makes a square one as well, both go into a 3 3/8 gauge hole.

They certainly aren’t always that easy. I have cursed at steering wheels more than any other part on a restoration lol. She’s going to look amazing with a new gemlux steering wheel and all new gemlux hardware!

awesome video!!! I always use a 30lb rod set up. I'm afraid that in my case the elastics won't break. that is, I will try to explain myself better, I fish with 11 pounds of resistance on the strike, should my elastic break at the pull of 11 pounds? please be patient, I'm a novice, I have no experience, I would like to learn

I'm not an expert when it comes to Tag-Lines, but I'm pretty sure that the rubber band comes in to play first, regardless of what you set your drag at. After a fish hits, and the rubber band breaks, the line gets straight and taught, that is when the drag comes in to play. Good luck and tight lies :-)

It would have been amazing to get to talk to you guys at the boat show but I was there for 2 days and didn’t see a gemlux stand. I re-fitted my bay boat with gemlux hardware all around and still have a few pieces to go.

Why does the outrigger roller rings have a loop on the back side, is there a purpose? Why not just the rollers on one side of the ring like the dredge boom you make is. Would look better and more streamline.
