Hi, at this time I didn't know they were baby salmon... I wasn't intentionally fishing for salmon... no shame in my ignorance and a plus to Lvlup. check out my salmon fishing video in Oroville..

I’m planning of buying this. Do I need to remove the butane canister every time after cooking? I will only use it ones a day for minor cooking. I think it’s not practical if I will remove it everytime after cooking. Thanks

I always remove it or keep it in but not have gas hooked on. For my peace of mind. It shouldn't be a problem to always have it hooked on though .

I heard there are assigned parking for the reservations now? Does that mean if I have reservation #1 or #10, there is a parking spot for #1 & a spot for #10?
@Levup_XP_Outdoors
@Levup_XP_Outdoors Жыл бұрын
I haven't gone since... By reservation do u mean reserving hunting spots or getting in line to enter?.. Cuz back when i went, ur number represents the order u enter the hunting areas.. Therefore first come first serve on the spots... I believe there is # signs for those with numbers so they can park and wait to enter.. Hope this helps

I throw those pikeminnows on shore or bonk them and throw them back. These things are making their way up into the higher streams and eating all the native trout. Where I use to catch trout, I'm catching pikeminnows.

Dude! These are super dark spawning Kokanee 😂😂😂 Don’t fish for these. This is so bad/sad/Embarrassing to watch. They are a great gamefish and delicious when they are silver and deep in the lake. Get a boat and catch them there please. Probably best to delete this video 👍🏻

Used to go fishing there back in the 70's when I was a teenager with my dad.I remember walking out on the concrete dam catching shad. There were so many fish they were bumping in to us. I also remember fishing for shad with shad darts hooking up on salmon but most got away cause the hook was to small,great times

Bet you had fun driving down to the bridge, that road is a great brake destroying road, lol. Was below the bridge when the powerhouse shut off the flow for whatever reason and the fish turned on like crazy, I was pulling in 15 to18 inch rainbows as fast as I could release them for around half an hour, the flow returned and fishing resumed for 6 to 11 inch trout every once in a while. Because of the ticks in the canyon upstream of the powerhouse and the steep canyon walls with the threat of falling rocks and the steep road down to the bridge it's a place I will not explore further.

This is what I call a sacrifice spot. Where the droves of people come in groups fishing shoulder to shoulder and fish everything out. But as long as they all concentrate in those spots at least the rest of the river can have some respite. Nimbus dam was another fine example of a sacrifice spot. This is what happens when you give out your secret spots. Below a spillway is no big deal but in wilder parts of the river with limited wild populations you really shouldn't be handing out those secret spots to everyone on the internet let them find it themselves.
