I didn't change anything else. I just unplugged all the connections from the old controller and plugged in the new one the same way the old controller was hooked up. The old controller would power on and didn't get any errors just wouldn't put out anything. Had no throttle or peddle assist. I could spin the rear wheel freely by hand.

Thanks! It shouldn’t have. All I can figure was I pushed it too hard climbing that hill in the canyon. I’ll save those trails for my Spark Brute from now on.

@WyomingRider I watched that ride, you didn't do anything wrong. It's the controllers the manufacturers use. Some are ok, some are nothing but problems. If it happens again, I would suggest a Sabvoton controller, it will need to be tuned but after that you will be good to go.

They are ok. The Droid headlight is really bright! Looks like the new round headlight they offer is a smaller version of the Droid headlight. It looks really good too.

The scar on my knee is slowly going away, but I was lucky and it was only scrapes and bruises. My chest was bruised really bad. It was black and blue for a month.

Sorry to hear about the crash and your injuries. That is a big concern with scooters. The DK300Max is a great bike for it's price point. Lots of battery and great acceleration when you need it.

Ya you'll get excellent range. Especially if you run single motor. It's always nice to have the extra power of the second motor when you need it.

@IMBruceECLECTIC my house is small, but only a few years old. I’m no expert, but it has Pella windows. They’re pretty good, but when it gets well below zero you can still feel a little cold air seeping in.

Thanks for watching! Both are great bikes no doubt. The Brute is defiantly superior, but there's also a big price difference. Currently the Goat is around $2700 and the Brute is around $4500. They are big differences in components though. Brute is using motorcycle grade brakes, suspension, and lighting system. The Goat has a 50A proprietary square wave controller vs the Brute with a Fardriver controller that is sinewave. The Fardriver controller on mine is tuned down to push around 85 amps, but has a lot more potential. Also the Goat motor is 2000w and the Brute motor is 4000w. My Power Goat is a V2 so it doesn't do quite the speeds of the V3 with the newer battery, but it will max out on the flat ground around 42 - 43 mph. It's been Winter since I've had my Brute, but so far has maxed out between 57 - 60 mph. Both bikes have great torque, but I've seen my Brute climb a steep hills at 40 - 45 mph. My Goat will climb those same hills around 26 - 28 mph. So hopefully that gives you a good comparison. Like most things just depends on how much money you want to spend. Neither bike is a bad choice and also consider the mini Goat that just came out since it's 72V as well it should do speeds of 50+. Kinda looks like a competitor to the Voro Motors Roadrunner pro. Also want to add the Brute does come with a vin number and certificate of origin so it can be registered as a motor driver cycle (moped).

Thanks so much for watching! Sorry to hear you fell. Been there myself a couple times on other bikes. Ya there’s a big difference in tires. I believe the tires in the Grizzly are CST bike tires. The tires in the Brute are actual motorcycle tires so they have nice deep tread pattern. Much heavier tires, but better suited for high speeds and don’t get flats as easy either. Thanks it’s definitely very scenic here especially up in the mountains. Can’t wait to spring so I can do a lot more riding.

Biggest problem here is with the short days and hills there's huge areas where it melts just enough in the day to turn into solid ice. Some years that stuff stays until May before it melts.

I love the look of both bikes, but my 2 reasons. I wanted the torque of the brute because I plan on doing some riding on dirt roads and mountain trails in the warm months. The second reason is the working pedals. I work at a government facility with it's own police. The Brute looks enough like a regular e-bike they don't give me any trouble riding it to work.
