This channel helped me so much. Your honesty about the journey is very valuable. I'm a software engineer, and I was flirting for a long time with the idea of doing e-commerce. But it didn't really take off. You actually made me decide not to do it, realizing I can invest a lot of time and energy and money, for a substantial period of time and not making any profit. Also seeing you making insane revenues without any profits, made me realize the margins just got whacked. Ads have gotten multiple times more expensive in the last few years, but consumers are willing to pay the same price on products or even less. Also consumers are more aware of dropshipping. Inflation and recession also make them think twice before spending money on shit they don't need. All of that makes this business model a lot harder than it was only a few years ago, does the margins shrank to a dangerous level. I'm pretty sure just a few years ago you would have made a lot of money with the same strategy exactly. Just imagine paying 4-6 times Less on ads. You would make a killing. I think the only way to go is tiktok organic if you actually want to make profits and you are not some Tycoon. Going with Facebook ads is definitely a mistake nowadays as a small player with a low ticket product. I'm going for a different direction instead, using my software engineering skills and experience. Also thinking of going to Dubai, currently in Thailand. (I'm a DN) Peace bro
