My favorite part about this video is that your sweater matches your studio! And I love your little quote about “not stuck, but building”- what a drop of wisdom and motivation that is! I have been thinking about changing up my workspace for a while now, but this blog really cheered me up about it. I have had professional and home studios alike, and nothing is more exciting than a good rearrange!

Thanks for the reminder. My last piece I worked on, I preemptively called it quits and started over. When I was editing the footage, I realized that it wasn't so bad and really shot myself in the foot by not pushing through it. Love your perspective and your work is fantastic ❤

Once again, a wonderful video. Especially the part with your friend at the beach. You are absolutely right with your conclusion to get a break sometimes, step back a little and don't rush the whole time to reach your target. The way, the creative process and the reflection about your work are the target. Not only the finished painting. I love your music selection, it is so relaxing. 😍😍😍❤❤❤

thank you for sharing your personal thoughts and feelings with us!! also i really liked your definition of home, and I agree with you, home doesn´t have to be the place where you´re born and raised (it´s nice if it is, but if you don´t feel like you belong to your hometown, i think it´s brave to move away and search for home somewhere else instead of settling in a place that doesn´t fit you)

A really cool and relaxing video, I love it. I like your deeper thoughts about your reasons why leaving Germany and the two definitions about what is "Home" are very interesting. I think "Home is where your Heart is" and this goes more in the direction of your definition about Home. I love your music selection in the outro part of your video. I think it represent so much of our feelings and it hardly drives tears in my eyes. I wish you all the best for the coming year 2025. Stay healthy, be happy and I hope all your dreams will come true. 😍😍😍❤❤❤

I like your video very much. It is so cool and really life like. And don't think so much about posting your videos a few days later as you planned. Keep in mind that you are not a professional influencer who is living for his videos. You have a full time job and you want to be a creative artist, so you are limited in time. It is great that you are posting content of your life and your thoughts in Barcelona on a regular basis. You can be really proud of doing this. I wish you a great time in Germany with your family. Enjoy some relaxing and peaceful christmas days. In my thoughts I will be with you and I will think of you when I am wandering through the snowy nature in Iceland. I wish you all the best and send you big hugs. ❤❤❤❤🌲🌲🌲😎

A really cool video, as always. I think your videos don't need a strict structure every time. It is very interesting to get a closer view about your daily life in Barcelona with all the highs and downs. I hope at the end everything will work out well with your apartement and you will get your contract. I know it from my own work life, at the end of the year it is always stressful. I do not know why, bit it is as it is. I like the music you choose for your videos, it is so relaxing and is a great background for your pictures. I like your big painting you are working on a lot. Such cool colours and an awesome composition. I hope you get all your work done in the next two weeks and that you can enjoy your christmas time with your family in Germany. Looking foreward to your next video update. 😍😍😍❤❤❤😎

Such a lovely channel, I am thankful to youtube algorythms to show me you, Maja. I recently moved to Spai and live not far from Barcelona and I am looking for new art people in the area as I am an artist too. I will watch your other videos! But I have a quick question - what art shop is considered best in the city? Which one do you like the most? I really would love to paint bigger format, but I need some supplies. Subscribed for sure!

Thank you sooo much for your comment Vera! I am happy that you found me and so I found you too! I really like your videos! That is soo cool we should definitely stay connected! Thank you for your question. I usually go to a really small one called "Belles Arts Ferran" because it is close to my place and I like the people there. For canvases I always go to "Casa Piera" in Raval because I think they have the best quality and almost every size. I recently discovered a really big store called "Barna Art" in L'Eixample which is perfect for different paint. They have so many options and different brands. And this is the best store to buy oil sticks. They have such a big variety of different sticks and brands and it is the only store were I found the oil sticks from the brand "R&F". Maybe I will make a video about this topic one day, thank you for the idea :D I subscribed too, can't wait to see more from you!

@@malumias thank you so much for all the names, I will put them to my map and visit those store. I missed a moment when acrylic became so fkn expensive haha. I used to have a stash at home, but not I need to buy new and i was eyeing the options! Also yes, yes, we definitely should stay connected. Catalan and Spanish artists are aplenty here, but not all of them use English as their main communication language which is understandable, duh. Ad my spanish is still pretty basic. So happy to find you!

@@VeraGolosovaArt Yes everything is super expensive, it is annoying :D Recently I bought an oil stick for 23 EUR... Yes that is soo awesome that we have so many artists here. As always, a very cool and interesting video about your life in Barcelona and your work as an artist. I love the balance between information, relaxing music and the scenes of the street life of Barcelona. I think you should bring some wine glasses to your studio to enjoy a glass of wine and not use a bowl for drinking 😂😂. You get some real cool glasses at Ikea which are not so expensive. And you should really think about installing an online shop for your paintings. When you have some big paintings in stock you should do this. I think there are many people outside who will buy original artwork instead of printings. Your paintings have so nice colours and they are so lovely composed, I think they will fit the walls of some cool apartements in Barcelona. And you should give them titles, because they are parts of your life and they are created out of some emotions and incidents in your life. I love your videos and I am always happy to enjoy a new one. 😍😍😍❤❤❤😎

A great video from the insights of your studio work. I think it is very important for you to have such a nice place for your own to relax, work and be creative. I like it very much. Something about your problem fixing your drawings. In the past, when I did a lot of drawing with pencils and charcoal, I used hairspray to fix my drawings and avoid destroying them by touching them. There are special solutions in artist shops but these are very expensive. I found out that hairspray had the same result being much more cheaper. You should try it on a small test drawing to avoid destroying your big painting. If it works you should spray it from 30 - 40 cm to get a very fine spray. Don't get it to wet, better to spray it 2 or 3 times with a very fine spray. Let it dry before you spray it again. Maybe someone else who is reading this has another or better idea to fix your drawings. By the way, cool pictures of Barcelona in your videos, it's such a cool city. And I love your cute cat in your video. I always love and enjoy watching your videos about your life in Barcelona. 😍😍😍❤❤❤
