I was thinking about that idea too. Night workers are most likely to fall asleep 😴 and delay tasks.

This video on hiring was a real eye-opener! I learned the importance of setting clear expectations from the very start. The bit about giving employees the freedom to choose their off days, as long as they communicate, was refreshing. It was surprising to learn how vital it is to present tasks with a personal touch, like recording a video of yourself explaining it. Also, the emphasis on evaluating your own instructions if things go wrong was a great reminder that it's not always the employee's fault. Finally, seeing how to approach time tracking differently based on what fits best is something I hadn't considered before. This was super useful, thanks!

This episode really opened my eyes. First, the idea of mini-retirements is genius-it’s all about life balance, not just grinding all the time. Second, it’s surprising how much can run smoothly if you just trust your team and delegate well. It’s impressive how the speaker managed to work only 15 hours a week for years by building a strong team in the Philippines. I also loved the part about letting go of control and realizing not everything needs your attention. Lastly, the flexibility of modern work locations is something I hadn’t thought deeply about before-definitely inspiring!

We had an OFS say the payment took too long, is it for sure 24 hours from us to them turn around?
@OnlinejobsPh01Ай бұрын
What service are you using to pay? If you're using EasyPay, it usually takes longer the first time because Payoneer performs additional security screenings for payments to workers that just created their Payoneer accounts. The initial payments can take 5-7 business days but after that, most payments happen within 24-48 hours. Basically, it depends on what you use to make the payment. We heard that Wise is a good service to use. To be safe, make your payments 5-7 business days earlier than your OFS expects it to make way for bank delays and weekends.

Loved the nuanced conversation and the stories, John. I recently paid my team leader to buy some graphics cards to upgrade his computer to keep up with his video editing software as well. I'm looking forward to hearing the story about your hotel room getting robbed. That sounds like a fun episode -- in hindsight, of course!

Thank you for your integrity and the company that you built. It has helped us hire and retain our first VA for over a year in a customer service role and it's helping us to find a social media manager and a future project manager. One of the things that I love about onlinejobs is that it can help make our impact as a company, a global impact, by helping people around the world with gainful employment and an atmosphere where people are built up. It has also helped us as a company be a more innovative and competitive business as we've been able to hire positions that we would have not otherwise been able to afford at the time

"NO murderer hath eternal life abiding in him." 1 John 3:15 He's in hell and shall never escape. "Eternal security" is a lie from hell, heretic. Repent and follow Jesus for real. The only reason you hide behind satan's first lie - "eternal security" - is because you are a spineless coward who refused to truly repent, to lay down your life in this fleeting world, to die to yourself life - be crucified with Christ - and truly follow Jesus. Repent. See Gen 2:17 and 3:4.

Interesting… We never had these rituals at our house, but we are having our first house blessing this coming weekend for our 2 new beach houses on Tablas Island. Yep, the Padre, will do the ceremony. Pasok - means “come in”. “Creepy - Crawling” visitors? Yikes! I experienced this in the jungle, but not in the province. Good Luck to your son. Continued Success. We may be using your services when our client base grows. Cheers! Greg

As the employer do I cover the fees that ezpay or payoneer, etc takes out to the OFS? Or do you have the OFS cover that?
@OnlinejobsPh014 ай бұрын
Normally, most employers do not pay the fees. It should be agreed upon during the interview/hiring process whether the monthly salary (lets say, $500 USD a month), excludes or includes fees. If you would like to be more generous as an employer (and keep your workers happy), you could cover the fees as an added benefit.

I’ve also gotten every excuse in the book from someone dying to someone getting a hand injury before a deadline to getting sick. And it happens ALL THE TIME. Terrible experience so far

I agree with you in practice, but what about the liability of hiring someone with no background check to handle client's information?
@OnlinejobsPh015 ай бұрын
Hi Anthony! In this case, we would recommend that for newly hired VAs, avoid giving tasks that would give them access to client information. Give them time and opportunities to earn your trust. Once they've proven themselves trustworthy, you can allow them to handle client information.
