The reason why death kill people in gruesome ways is so that it can make sure their deaths are actually final this time. You can't cheat decapitation or an explosion.

FUN FACT! The scene with the Alka-Seltzer waters after the "Bus kill" scene was actually added in later. Test audiences were so floored by the sudden kill that they needed to add something to calm the audience back down before they got scared again.

Definitely watch the other Final Destination movies. Also, check out the movies Thirteen Ghosts(2001), House of Wax(2005), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre(2003)(Remake), I Know What You Did Last Summer(1997), The Faculty(1998), Jeepers Creepers(2001), and Jeepers Creepers 2(2003).

Consider what would become one of the most famous songs in slasher films was sung by an artist who died in his private plane. That was the reason that song specifically was used. John Denver was a great artist who captivated the world with his vocals and acoustic guitar playing.

Just here to say, awful movie. Perverts and sociopaths, with no regard that rape and female objectification are never entertainment, enjoyed this. This crap makes our societies sicker and sicker always: more abuse of women and our men worse and worse for more.
