A mint employee was probably trying to score themselves one, good for you! Both the U.S and Canadian Mint have had rare coins taken by employees for over a century, and although back then I thank them for it so that we can learn about them now but stealing from a paying customer by sending roadblock after roadblock is disgusting behaviour

@@neontheking9988, 100% agree. I knew they either sold it from under me or gave it to someone. I kept records of my efforts and just kept moving forward. Makes you wonder how many regular people get screwed by the Mint, just because so and so calls up and wants a coin but they're late to the party. I'll bet it's not uncommon. Anyway, all credit to Ventris, sorry Madame Director, for making it right.

So I put a plan in action day one when I got that cancelation email. I took my time, I wrote down everything and I went to the top. It paid off. Hope others do the same. Its definitely worth it. I had (2) separate customers about a year and a half ago buy Goldbacks from me. About a week ago (1) brought his in to exchange, he made $1.04 per Goldback. He had 45 Goldbacks. The other just called me yesterday and asked what I paid, I gave him the exchange rate posted on Goldbacks website, he was very happy and plans to sell to me. Both made money. This is real world FACT. Now if you bought yours from some vendor over charging, thats unfortunate. But like with any investment, value goes up and down, you as an investor should time the market to your advantage. But please explain your general statement...

Second, at shows, there are a couple factors, many shows and dealers are against video being shot, so have to kimda be careful. My LCS has a Sigma, but you kind of have to ask them to use it. I wish it was just the default using it, whether I'm buying or selling, I want to know if it's real. This shop is doing it right.
