I usually apply a layer of oil on the surface then apply the different shades your technique is slightly different

Thank you for your comment. Yes, I use various handles when painting. Often they are wooden handles of work tools...saw, file, etc. All the best for you and your family.

Thank you very much. I am glad you like my work. I always try to enjoy painting...not suffer. That's why I chose a simpler method, which is acrylic :o)

Hey Taiko, quick question for you. How long do you typically wait for your oils to dry before applying the varnish? Thanks for the videos, I love your content, and appreciate that you engage with us in comments. I know a lot of time not only goes into your art, but also into the filming, editing, and posting. 🫡

Thank you for your question. It all depends on the type of paint. Some dry quickly and some slowly. By mixing the paints, the drying time can be shortened. Usually, the paints are ready for varnishing the next day. Sometimes, however, I have to wait 2-3 days.
