Carburetor tuning is such a lost art and it's really sad that so many have no clue on how to do it.

You should have advised to check that the pitman arm is parallel with the centerline of the vehicle in case some knucklehead had installed it off a spline, or two, or more, when rebuilding or replacing the box, or the pitman arm. I've seen it happen and the steering gets really screwy. Otherwise, thanks for the video.

I just finished mounting this and have a few thoughts to pass on - first off it is a seriously stout and well built product. For anyone considering a purchase be prepared to make some adjustments prior to all parts fitting together (it is hand-made), and seriously, do this before considering applying any paint. I spent some time grinding down sharp areas, and trimmed a section of the fuel tank skid plate for the hitch receiver to fit. Mine’s a ‘66, with a straight-ended bumper, which didn’t fit through the area intended near the pivot, so had to order an updated bumper compatible with ‘68 onward. The new bumper required some mods to align with all holes, plus I had to pound on the frame horns to allow it to slide into place. Hard to say how many times I took carrier and bumper on and off to get it right. Sounds like plenty of work, but now I have a tire carrier you could probably strap four spares to.

They are running our tank however we have done dual tanks on some of our builds. I am not a fan of external pumps so we have modified the factory main and aux. tanks to accept an in tank pump system, the retrofit unit that FiTech makes has been great for this. Feel free to reach out to Lick Creek and we can share some photos of what we did.

You haven’t ever tried a Quadratolet or also known as a Rottenchester? I have never had a problem at all off reading them. You can run them with the top off on a running motor. I had my rig running on its side only to have to shut it off because no oil on the top side. You will never find one better!

So is the magnaflow the quietest? Which one would I choose if I wanted my 74 bronco to run quieter at all times? At idle, at 20mph and at 70mph? Just all around quieter. Right now it is incredibly loud. I know some people prefer that, but I do not. It wakes the neighbors in my apartment building when I start it and it sets off car alarms when I just drive by in parking garages. Thank you!
