Thank you for the review. Is the mesh at bottom No-see-um? If not, have you had insects coming in around the bottom?
@thestegmonsters10 күн бұрын
@rnpinoakrd5580 There are a couple of actual holes in the corners if I remember correctly but we have never had an insect problem. We have used this in several areas and have been good. I am not sure the mesh would be considered No-See-um as we have cleared out tiny rocks using the pulley in the shower draining the water through the nets.

Try pine pellets from Harbor freight for your toilet. They are five dollars for a huge bag that will last you all year camping and it smells like fresh pine and it’s biodegradable and not harmful like the clay kitty litter that doesn’t break down also absorbs urine a whole lot better than the clay kitty litter as well. Hope this helps. I just learned this last couple years myself.

What I do with my tent is, is put a tarp over the top before adding the fly... This way is a double barrier for rain, keep heat in and or when running your air conditionor. Just a suggestion. But great set. Enjoy camping.
@thestegmonstersАй бұрын
@judiantonacci475 we have seen that done before and thought about it. We have since switched to a pop up camper but still tent camp with cub scouts. Only our set up with scouts is much simpler lol.

A duel hose AC unit is the way to go with tents. A single hose creates a negative pressure and sucks hot air back into the tent making it not work as well.

I've only primitive camped and thinking about trying glamping. FYI your A/C link might need to be updated. I do have a question about tent A/C use. Which will work better in a tent, a unit with air exiting the top or the side?
@thestegmonsters4 ай бұрын
@punktexas thanks for the heads up, I have updated the link however our model is no longer out but this looks to be similar. amzn.to/4bCwxEp I think a unit with air exiting the side would be better because it is likely that your tube will be coming out from the floor of your tent. Primitive camping is "ok" to us LOL, we just are spoiled and want to sleep with AC. Good luck and happy camping!
