As somebody who spends a lot of time making arps with his Matriarch, you are making some really beautiful arps with yours. Keep going!

Verily, thou hast bestowed upon mine heart a bounteous and most wondrous joy, such as the heavens themselves might envy, with thine most glorious and divine playing! Lo, I am but humbled and dazzled by the melodies that floweth from thine hands, as if angels themselves didst descend to grace mine ears!

It sounds so special… so moog.

Great idea, very interesting, how much slower could you potentially get the rate? I can hear this play along to a very slow, calm meditative track! Will try it on the Matriarch I dream of one day owning! :)

Ooo good question, I may have to do another video where I try this! Hope you can make your dreams a reality soon!

Great video and thank you for the download may I ask what did you use to create the PDF id like to create my own but I suck at photoshop
@primewavesmusic27 күн бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video and the download. I didn't actually create the PDF myself; Jordan Passmore and/or Moog did. Not sure what software they used to do it though.

That's an amazing song. One question, though: Are you religious? If not, what would convince you to convert to Christianity?

This is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful touch on the synth solo 🥹. And such expressive pitch and mod-wheel work

Re-checked in on you after finding that lovely cover of "Ballad of the Windfish". Your moog synth jams are great of the 4-5 I put on while working! Then this one I just looped for like an hour hah, reminds me a bit if some of the better tracks from Risk of Rain 2's soundtrack... but maybe even more soothing and accessable? Go dude go!

Really appreciate your comment! Very happy that you’re enjoying the music 😄

And yeah you’re like the 4th person who’s compared some of my music to Risk of Rain. I’ve actually never played it but I probably should!
@robsonclark9678Ай бұрын
@@primewavesmusic I only played it 2-3 times with friends, It was solid but I was focused on running around not dieing and didnt "hear" the music. But being a game nerd I happily listen to game music at work and youtube music put one of the ost of arisk of rain 2 on my playlist, and I was surprised how much I liked it. not ever track, but man some are excellent...

Beautiful playing dude! Triangle and square waves are my favorites <3
@primewavesmusic7 ай бұрын
Yeah! I often find myself using them, esp. for lead sounds. And there's a cool trick I discovered on the Matriarch not too long ago where you can take the square wave and patch the attenuator to it, to change its PW manually. I've found my favorite is actually in between the standard 50% square wave, and the thin pulse (I think that one is 25%) setting. Like maybe a 35% width wave or so?

00f man. That looks difficult, specially when you have to use your right hand while modulating with the left one. It's like a modern theremin :) although mastering the theremin is even harder haha
@primewavesmusic9 ай бұрын
Yeah, it takes a little to get used to. You have to think of it like its own instrument -- which is actually the appeal for me! It's like a traditional instrument, for instance guitar or violin, where you're doing the notes with one hand, and generating the vibrations with your other hand. I tried a theremin up at the Moog store once. It was hard! On the newer ones there's a pitch correction that you can adjust the strength of, which was very helpful. I definitely made use of it :O

Nice control setup. I wonder how hard it would be to set up some lasers (purely for appearance) and create a Jarre like laser harp just based on finger/hand positioning.
@primewavesmusic9 ай бұрын
Thanks! I'm not sure how hard it would be. I guess the first step is to buy lasers! Second step... some kind of fog machine? Third step... profit 😎
