It's about how the more things change the more they stay the same. Those lines haunt Max for his entire life and he's disturbed with his actions because it didn't bring Michelle or his baby back. The alley scene is about letting go of the past and moving forward, acknowledging that what's done is done. This film is like a book end to the whole story, it started with Michelle, it ends with Michelle. It started with young Max and it ends with young Max.

There are other Max Payne fan films over there, and i love them all (yes, even THAT one) but this one is just the best. WE should thank you people for creating such an amazing work!

It's the early days of the Resistance. The T-600 terminators are the first infiltration model designed by Skynet. But their polymer skin and face visages are not realistic enough to fool the human resistance fighters. Yet the strength of the T-600 and its 40 Gigawatt phase plasma burst rifle makes them extremely dangerous, almost as much as the later T-800 model.

This was amazing! from the pacing that really well done, the soundtrack, acting, visual set pieces, lighting to the camera work. Loved the “you’ll learn” part haha. This fan film feels like an extension of the original sequel. Good job.

That was badass! The soundtrack was epic! Especially behind the slow motion cinematography. I love how I immediately knew that was John Connor without it ever being stated. Again, the music was phenomenal.👍

My only complaint is that you gave a Terminator's plasma rifle to a little scavenger girl, and those things ate supposed to be too heavy even for male soldiers. Everything else is perfect.

fan films are better than those big business no talent or imagination studios. my husband showed me a wonderful one done on the game Killzone and this is wonderful!

Didn't have to add that theme music, every up in that tune provokes me to cry and reminds me I can feel Max's pain and gives me sad feelings from last 10years, 7y old me who was scared of playing Max Payne started to play it and ended up waking up from the American dream, I tried to describe my feelings about Max Payne, no one understood what I was saying, what was the American dream, they said they think it's funny, yes it was, for New Jersey, I laughed back, guess that was a fake laugh jerks

You see the problem with showing an older version of him like that is the following: after Max was holding Mona Sax in his arms for the last time he had a dream of his wife. She was dead. But it was alright.

Max is still hung up on the loss of his wife and daughter in Max Payne 3, so even though he came to terms with their death at the end of the second game, he fell deeper into depression by the third, becoming a full blown alcoholic. At the start of the third game we see that he never was able to forgive himself, he even holds Michelle's photo and says 'Let it go, seriously'.

Great mini-film. Deeply appreciated. My only criticism would be that their clothing and faces are WAY too clean. A little bit more grit, grime and sweat.
