A regrettable correction: Michalis Ganas (1944 - 2024)

I was turned on to this band with their full album Op Ivy cover a few months and I haven't stopped listening to them since. There's an awesome vibe that permeates this band that's infectious.

wow no joke about this being the episode where a ton of stuff comes together. great series seriously. my notes (modification of outline provided in description) : bringing the whole thing together - anxiety is way in in which the whole of Dasein is disclosed - defining the whole as Care - the 12 steps of the Care structure - articulated thrown projection - we are not simple - we are a hinge - we are a unified but multi-faceted stretch (future, past and present) - care = existentiality, facticity, falling - meaning as the basis of care, temporality as the meaning of care, temporality is essentially ecstatical - a stunning personal revelation about my anxiety - why i do philosophy - in anxiety the self (+ freedom) is precipitated, the tide goes out the water drains away and leaves one stranded on the sand, stranded on the great beach of being, stranded in solipsism, anxiety individualizes Dasein (does this analysis overlook the historically/linguistically constructed strength of the self concept?) - approaching Heidegger aquatically, maritime model - opening oneself to the tender indifference of the world - anxiety as the mood of the novel (Crusoe) - falling out of the world, the cozy, the homely - party being (social sea) - time and tide - being alone with others - Terrence Malick wanted to work on Heidegger, Wittgenstein, and Kierkegaard and was told it ‘was not real philosophy’, went on to replace Hubert Dreyfus at MIT, who was at that time in Paris doing a reading group on Heidegger with Jacques Derrida, Dominique Janicaud (Simon Critchley’s teacher) and Alphonso Lingis*. some years later Malick finds himself at film school, a fellow student in the intake was David Lynch - anxiety, calm and courage - anxiety reveals the Nothing - darkness can help - the Christian background to anxiety (Kierkegaard) - Saint Paul and anxious waiting - Heidegger tells us a story and gives us a happy ending - CARE - marrying the CONTRADICTORY (feature not bug) ontology of Aristotle* (which Being and Time was pitched as a book about, wrote for tenure in cabin in the Black Forest, pragmatic realist interpretation is dominant, not incorrectly, in the American [Pragmatist presumably?] interpretation of Heidegger) and Christian anthropology (Paul, Augustine, Luther, and Kierkegaard - moving away from the world) within atheism.

O μόνος καλλιτέχνης που σε κάθε συναυλία του θα ακούσεις τα τραγούδια του σε διαφορετικό στιλ παιξίματος και είναι κάτι που σε κάνει να μην τον βαριέσαι να τον ακούς! Παυλάρα συνέχισε έτσι!
