This is the best video about a pedal I have ever seen. This is my favorite pedal of all time, and you did it justice

Thanks for sharing. I like the format of having pure sound demo with comments in letters rather than voice. The shimmer was explained in a way that helped me with my own unit. Your music sounded like a playful and good jam session.

The pedal is great sounding, but the video itself it's wonderful: your style is delicate, relaxing and informative.

2 years later, this pedal still goes for 500 euros. This price is justified by the science inside it, but not by the hardware. Way too expensive. I can buy a synthesizer with this kind of money..

I saw the lead guitarist for Alpha Blondy play a solo ending with a fast delay on warp and I had to have one immediately! If not very soon. Fuck all the other modes. WARP ALL DAY, ALL YEAR ROUND!

In a crowded world of "new ambient reverb" pedals this continues to be unique & very flexible, a tweakers delight.

I still have it on my board...but the 8-bit processing has become an issue with 24 to 32-bit pedals in front of it... Not worth the $500 they still want for it... Looks like the new Mercury X is the replacement pedal that covers it and alot more...
@eddy67 Жыл бұрын
Is Space really 8bit? What!
@jst601 Жыл бұрын
Where do you find specs showing 8 bit? Please share, enlighten us. Thanks. FYI as of 2022 they've lowered the price.
@ShaighJosephson9 күн бұрын
That series of Eventide pedals has always been 8-bit... Product of the time when they came out... They never changed it in that pedal series, but they did when when they moved the algorythms to the H9...

You don't see this pedal very often on current pedalboards, but it is still a class of its own. I am so grateful to have this awesome reverb pedal on my board. This video is the best video on the Eventide Space I have seen so far. Very inspirational! 🙌🙏👍👍👏👏👏

i absolutely love this pedal i want it so bad, and i LOVE the added commentary. adds such a warm, explorative, loving, welcoming energy which pairs so well with all of the sounds you’re making with the pedal
@llObscurell Жыл бұрын
had it for abbout 3 years now, you can use it for faux delay, a "freeze", a tremelo, even make it sound like a leslie.

For me, the DD6 is the best PURE digital pedal from the Boss compact Series. No analog or tape modes. Digital at its best. The Warp mode is phenomenal. Tonally, it lacks some warmth if compared with the DD2/MIJ DD3, but it sounds clear and absolutely killer. I´m glad I still have mine in pristine condition, with its box lol

Strymon Big Sky is just a different reverb.
@ChrisB-lt6hp Жыл бұрын
I’ve had one for years and everyone bangs on about the Styrmon, to me this always beat it hands down. My friend has an eventide 3000 and it’s was a monster, but this can do much of what the 3000 when I use it with the eventide delay. I use mine for ambient guitar and keyboard works and can’t think of any thing better, they are like instruments that you need to know.
@jasonm9264-f2o Жыл бұрын
Same- to me, the Strymon is more "metalic" and maybe "clean", whereas this is more "warm", eg a little more distortion and more mid-rangey by default- for my music it's more organic.
@tested2116 ай бұрын
I think that is true. I just got one a couple of weeks ago - nearly sent it back. It's high flexibility means that it's also quite easy to make "bad" sounds (or sounds that are not at all what you are looking for) That's not a fault but it does mean that the learning curve is going to be steeper than most reverbs.
@nigel900 Жыл бұрын
I’ve had one for 11+ years now, and it’s still fantastic! 👍🏻
