The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great. kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far). The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows. The suspension connection takes up the entire thing. So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top. Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge. Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it. Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase.

I have a Walmart Schwinn Axum 29 inch rims, duel, disk brakes everything that you have mines dropper, post ready Mine is a blackish gray with gold Sparkletts. Lol I love it fat tires very very fast one and eight speed. I love this bike. I wish I could’ve bought the bike you have because it has a dropper post already installed. Mine is DP ready. This bike is so fast.

Be grateful, my dropper post lasted 6 months and crapped out.... the one it comes with does't hold up. The rest of the bike is a beast for the price though.

18:30 Fully extended leg while peddling is the most efficient and least strain on the knees. Transfers max power to the drive train. It's not a comfort thing.
@BudgetOutdoorAdventures
@BudgetOutdoorAdventures Жыл бұрын
Yes and no, full extension sacrifices some pedal control at full extension. On my road bikes I’m set to full extension, my cross country bikes are probably around 90% and my “all mountain” it varies but is pretty much never at full extension. It also absolutely is a “comfort thing” depending on your physical limitations and/or injuries.

Just an FYI - Local bike shops can usually get a new hanger. They have a chart with most all the styles. Bike companies generally buy from the same suppliers. Those ‘dolphin’ type batteries for ebikes are also pretty easy to find. I enjoyed the video. Thanks.
@BudgetOutdoorAdventures
@BudgetOutdoorAdventures Жыл бұрын
In some cases yes, in this frames case no. Same applies to the battery, depending on how the battery was built, and where and how charge controller, shunt etc is placed they may be easily swappable. With this bike the only practical option is a rebuilt.

Thanks, great video, which convinced me to buy axum and slowly upgrade it. I have a question about wheel upgrades. How did you fit the boost thru axle rear hub into axum's quick release dropouts? Axum has 141mm boost spacing (quick releases), but the thru axle boost hubs are 148 mm. I can't find a solution for budget rear wheel with boost thru axle hubs. DT Swiss and other major brands provide a solution with replaceable end caps, but those wheels cost a small fortune. Curious how you were able to fit yours.

142 TA will work on the 141 Boost rear dropouts. Axle adapters are available. Use a 142mm 12mm to 10mm QR and a 3mm rotor spacer. 148mm hubs usually have end caps to 141 QR. Origin8 148 Boost hubs will convert.
