@MrWsaenot2 ай бұрын
It does! I like to see it as a 'better tubescreamer'. It does everything the ts does, but with more of it. More gain, more volume, more eq controls. It's a little bit more complicated to set, thus not as plug and play as a ts, but it's so much more versatile.

@MrWsaenot9 ай бұрын
Hey there. I actually questioned Walrus Audio about it (cheers to them, they are so nice), and they said it was based on a tubescreamer. Somehow, the amount of gain on tap and the fact that there's not so much 'clean' signal blend in reminds me more of a very midrangey OCD than a tubescreamer. Overall, it feels pretty unique, not like any of the circuits I had the chance to test or own. This one, I'm keeping it !

@MrWsaenot9 ай бұрын
Hmm... I might need to test that but I'm pretty sure they would stack pretty well ! Instinctively, I'd go with the MD going into the PS, as I'm not a big fan of asymmetrical clipping devices 'as is' (into a clean amp or in the last position of a gain stack), I like them boosting a more classical overdriven amp or pedal. Also I'd be very cautious about the amount of gain and volume on both pedals as they both have quite a significant amount of the two on tap.

@@MrWsaenot Hi (sorry, I'm me, again). I just recived my "mellow drive" to my house, and all that I can say is "wow": It's all that I need. Super smooth and mellow. I have never tried a dumble amp or something as custom like that, but I'm really happy to have this in my board. I put my PS on it, and i think that it's huge amazing good. I experiment a lot with this duo and it's ridiculous (in the good way) all the sound that you can get, since a little and creamy drive to a interesant fuzz that it's perfect to my ears (turn up all the gain of PS and turn down the gain and the level of the mellow drive).
