Dear lord baby Jesus, do not use that dirty fluid off that dirty table to lube seals. Now that junk is inside of your brake and steering systems. And please clean important things before you open them and clean the insides after opening them. I hope anyone reading this already knows this.

Is there a certain direction for the dump valve? I put new seals in my hydroboost from my 18’ ram 2500 6.7 (the hydroboost and power steering were working perfect other than a leak). Mine doesn’t leak but now there’s a hiss when turning the steering wheel and when you turn it applies the brakes. Something is not right. The brake work fine .

This is a true craftsman milling out a lower receiver…. I’m one of those that use a jig (basically a template), and while there is a sense of “accomplishment”…. Doing it without a template is definitely a step above.

Guess some folks idea of clean, a rebuild, or a rubber mallet are different than others. When he put the pushrod in before putting it back together again I knew he didn’t have a clue to how these things function.

how to take off and on properly? I lock the spindle with the spindle lock, then I use an adjustable wrench to grip one of the jaws to screw the chuck off. the chuck should be screwed in the direction so that your cutting tool, when in use, is trying to tighten the chuck. it should not take much force at all but I worry if that is hard on the jaw.. for reinstalling, make sure there is not metal particles on contact surfaces, surfaces should be very lightly oiled. I just turn on hand tight. I do not turn the pin. it is set to a proper depth and that's it....remember to disengage spindle lock.

What a killer video. Bah humbug to the wet nellys. Would rather listen to you tunes than a blow by blow description of how to use a wrench. If you need that, then you shouldn’t be watching lathe redo vids. I am here to watch the lathe. Yah it’s not as accurate as the horse head but at least it was saved from the scraper.

If I was running that Binder at the beginning, I'd stop for a bit to let the Deere get farther ahead so I was eating his dust. Either that or speed up a little and pass him for pride and glory... even though they're not even harvesting the same crop. 1460 oughta be able to move right along with a 4 row head, as it does later in the video.

If you want a consistent z depth you can always face the part first, and I can’t really tell because it’s sped up but I would say your travel still looks a little fast for that end mill. Anyways, great video I found your dry humor pretty funny dude. You have a link to that kit! Didn’t see it in the description. Thanks.

Great info but if you take on this job be sure to pull everything apart and thoroughly clean it all then clean your hands then reassemble using only clean fluid to lube seals crud will cut the service life of your new seals among other things drastically.it sucks but you'll be glad you did.
