I just want to say thanks for posting this. Outside of the Yamaha promotional videos yours is the only one. I was about ready to buy an Alesis strata core, or TD17 and now I'm seriously thinking about pre-ordering one of these. Problem is there are no reviews, or first impressions videos. Do you think you could comment on how it lines up against something like a Strata Core, or TD17? Id love to see more videos on these.
@digitaldrumming4 күн бұрын
Thank you very much, unfortunately I don't have any first hand experiences with the Alesis Stata Core. But it seems that those pads are really low quality, the module seems to be nice though. Roland has top notch triggering, but the small PDX pads & most artificial module sounds of the 3. Its bass drum pad (KD-10) is LOUD, shaky and doesn't feel right. The Yamaha has some great sounds and plays nicely, but also the bd pad is something I wouldn't be satisfied with in the long run. It's a nice kit for upgrades and the DTX Pro module has some cool features. In the end, you should test all three kits to find out which one you prefer honestly. Kind regards!
@lobbyrobbyКүн бұрын
@@lobyapatty did you buy anything yet? I have a td-17kvx2. I don't have any other experience with other edrums but I love mine. I did upgrade the rack tho. That was my main complaint. HI, HOW IS THE QUALITY OF LEMON DRUMS?

@digitaldrumming4 күн бұрын
Then I guess you weren't using appropriate trigger presets (of Roland cymbals), Lemon cymbals work exactly the same way as Rolands, with slightly different sensitivity on bow/edge. As you can see in this video (using a Roland TD-30 sound module) they are 100% compatible and functional with any Roland module, the PMP also is fully Roland compatible and has onboard Roland trigger presets. You can use VH-11/10, CY-15r and CY-12C/14C presets f.e.. Kind regards
