I hope Walter's vision refines itself in the following collections. Nicola Brognano had a clear vision and the girl that would wear blumarine was reflected with care; free, fierce and flirty. His impact in defining what was the start of 2020s fashion craze is undeniable and the craftsmanship was notable. Regardless of who finds the y2k aesthetics overdone. I mean the butterfly motif became iconic and I don't think there is one kpop girl group that hasn't worn Nicola's designs at least once. Blumarines trajectory into a cult following due to clear ethos was pretty steady. This however has the same impact as recently frumpy Chanel but without the years of iconic history to keep it afloat.

I don't understand this collection. I liked the Y2K look of the last few years better... I would have liked a Mob Wife collection too. The clothes look like Zara 2017 ☹️ did you change the designer?

I get y2k is over but Blumarine went from fun and unique to drab and wannabe, indie sleaze could’ve been pulled off much better

it’s like right when i thought i understood it something came way out of left field and it went back to making no sense. 😭 at certain points it was this sleazy moody morning after wardrobe (which i liked), and then the most random elements took me out of it… hopefully with time they can narrow the vision but this collection could’ve been edited down a whole lot
