Harrops Last Chance Cripple
@troutcastz6 ай бұрын
No. Last Chance is tied with a Biot body. Not dubbing. If you search or google Crippled Mayflies, almost everyone is tied in the same matter so they lay in a special way in the surface.

CDC is always difficult to fish in fast water because gets wet quickly. Do you treat it to float few more times or you just change fly after few casts?
@troutcastz7 ай бұрын
I would say the opposite. if you use good CDC it is very fat and doesn't get wet that easily. And also dries up very quick. Especially if you snap the fly 2-3 times before presenting it again.
@sputnick667 ай бұрын
That was great, good explanation. I agree with you about the amount of hackle, three of four turns is enough.
@troutcastz7 ай бұрын
Thanks! And yes, the fly won't sink with 3-4 turns instead of 34.... ;)
