This is a vey good tutorial, thanks for posting. I appreciate you using two different fabrics to show the contrast between what is the placket and isn't. Will use this on a henley of my own.

I've done this 6x now. What am I doing wrong? No second loop appears when I pull it up from behind. SO FRUSTRATING.

Ok, not through the loop you just made to the right. Go behind the loop, and there should be a spot (I had to wiggle it open) under the right bow loop and on top of the first knot. I wouldn't call it a back loop, it's kinda through the center of the knot you are halfway through making.

I have a hard time finishing the edges when I do this method. Normally when serging I sew over my beginning stitches to lock it in but when I use the rolled hem everything gets jammed up and I end up with a giant knot. Do you have any tips to avoid that? How do you finish a rolled hem in the round?
