I am a big BCR fan but the only reunion line up that worked for me, apart from when they all did the 1980's tour in Japan was the Les & Ian lineup. Love Eric & Woody but this lineup doesn't do it for me.

The lead singer in this video is Elmer Hopper and friend of one of the original "Recording",Platters Paul Robi.. Elmer toured for 20 years with Paul Robi's Platters sharing first tenor and lead tenor on many of the Platter's songs.Elmer was a friend of mine since 1984.His lead on "Enchanted", "Red Sails in the Sunset", Remember When" will live on in my heart and I will sing along with him until we meet again. I invite you to put Elmer Hopper in the search box at the top of the page on You Tube and reminisce to his incomparable tenor voice.

Thank you for posting. TV is not the same without Bert and Jeannie. I can’t get over the “Darlings” which was Jeannie’s catch phrase. Bert brought real entertainment to tv and tv was tv with Bert. Bert and Jeannie thank you for the memories.

People who lived in regional cities and towns could only get The Bert Newton Show back in 89. Wagga Wagga viewer's didn't get the extra commercial channels until 1990 and that's when we got The Midday show with Ray Martin. Unfortunately Bert's chat show got axed but I think there was room for both programs.
