it is actually more voxels not sdf. but very similar.

Instead of storing polygons, edges, and vertices, Modeler uses Signed Distance Fields (SDFs) to represent 3D space. horrible. It is not about that though. this is a conceptual process. the point is to be able to generate a complex form quickly without worrying about geometry. then retopology later when you are happy!

this is really cool, Im currently trying to visualize a feathered dragon for my thesis project and it has some funky membrane feathers on the points of its wings- I pretty much did the body without the membranes like you did here but I want to animate it later, do you think I can somehow still merge it? Im a little afraid the poly-numbers are too different and Ill f*** up my base mesh with another zremesh... 3d can be so exhausting

Cheers! Glad you find it useful. You can follow the same technique for multiple subtools and then the all history recordings in one go to have a single video

If you are referring to ZSpheres you can use them but ZBrush is not for rigging

Hello! I am a professional Digital sculptor. I make models for 3d printing only use PC version of ZBrush for that. Usually my final models of highpoly weight around 35-40 mln polys. And I wonder, can be Ipad version used from the scratch to the final product? Or it is more for like sketching the Idea, that will be exported to the pc to deal with? Thanks, Pablo!

The Pro Pen 3 is great, the 8000 levels of pressure sensitivity is fab, even the exorbitantly expensive nibs are super nice, except for the BUTTONS. They are so difficult to press, I went back to using the pro pen 3D which so far has been the best. I hope they revise the new pen with buttons like the pro pen 3D. Or make new Pro Pen 3D with the extra levels of pressure sensitivity.

too bad the stylus tip breaks with the slightest pressure. Should have made the tip shaft go all the way down the tip (like the older one). I threw mine away.
